Really? He seemed pretty cheery to me, he constantly went off on tangents about crazy stuff.

I enjoyed it though, he's pretty interesting and he seems to have a lot of great stories since he's a seasoned industry vet.

Not a big Robert Ashley fan. Listened to his podcast when he was releasing them years ago. His attitude didn't really do much favors for the show. Especially the episode where he asked people why they enjoyed playing video games in his stoned voice and then acted like their answers weren't good enough.

It's a late night casual conversation where people are drinking on Giantbomb.com. If you were expecting maturity and decorum the whole time your expectations are out of whack.

I have to agree with Jeff and Ryans comments on preserving the right for everyone to be an idiot just as long as your idiocy doesn't hurt anyone else. I feel as a species we are very complex and we surely can't be held to black and white absolutes. So with that in mind, why can we not laugh about the ridiculous notion of 3D printed dicks and yet still discuss serious topics like social injustice?

I feel in this regard after what I have just watched in this video and observed in the comments, Phil Fish seems like a perfectly reasonable person with interesting thoughts and a talent for making awesome games.

I feel it is getting into the weird territory like one of those solo girl porn sites.

Phil Fish is awesome, honestly buying Fez for PC just because he is cool. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

We all say shit sometimes. Phil Fish is alright.

It really was a breath of fresh air. Note the silence of certain members when she spoke. I was impressed especially when she noted that this was also just her opinion. The absolutism of this kind of stuff - "you're either with us or you're a misogynistic pig" - is perhaps the most tiring part.

Danny B is awesome. That dude is so down-to-earth and charming. Phil Fish also endeared himself, strangely after his own section where he didn't really say all that much interesting. Loved the IGN sign and Jeff's reaction. The cake and vomit stories will also live in infamy. Great stream.

@murdersmash: It was more about him being a gigantic ass without anything to back it up and making very cocky statements and then being forced to backtrack on it - and he did it in kind of a pathetic way. He rallied for Xbox Live and knocked down Steam, then the whole patching business happened and he began whining that Steam is so much better and that he's sad he didn't put it out for all platforms. Also, "PCs are for spreadsheets" and that FEZ is meant to be enjoyed on a couch. Cue PC release.

Sure, the hate bandwagon is kind of overblown, but he didn't come of as a very likable dude. For what it's worth - he seems to have mellowed a lot and he was cool in this video.

Why is no one asking about the spoon on Carrie's wrist? Does she need it for drugs, or is her life have situations where a needing a spoon is so dire?

@phished0ne: I fully understand his intent to develop for a single platform and I think more games would be higher quality if they went single platform. But just looking at Super Meat Boy you can see how much more of an audience for these games there is on PC so it would be dumb not to put it out there at some point.

I can't believe that they are actually defending Anita Sarkeesian, people don't hate her because is a woman. They hate her because she basically scammed people to make a bunch of badly researched youtube videos.

Some people dislike her for that perception of what she is doing, but a lot of people have crossed the line in their hate toward her. From day one people have been acting like assholes toward her, and loud idiots have easily distracted from any reasonable criticism that some might have. And that horribly negative response fueled people donating more to her. Those who have despised her, demeaned her, harassed her, and made death threats against her are more to thank for her success than almost anyone else.

On a related note, if i was a musician (one who made REAL MUSIC MAN, NOT SOME POP BULLSHIT). You were a fan of mine, and i said in an interview i would never ever ever use a certain brand of guitar because i didnt like it's tone ( Presumably because i had a sponsorship from another guitar company). But then miraculously started to use that exact brand of guitar i swore i would never use as soon as my sponsorhip ended, would that make you question my integrity as an artist who is trying to make "real meaning music"?

That's not really it. If you watch Indie Game: The Movie (not a very good film, but worth watching for anyone interested in video games), he appears to be a bit of a dickhead. An achievement considering the directors of the film seem to want us to root for him. The Super Meat Boy guys come across much better.

Still, dickheads can make good games and be entertaining, I hold no ill-will against him for that. He seems quite interesting and funny when he's more relaxed.

What's the problem for ladies to get body paint? They even probably are getting payed. What's the problem? Who do they hurt? If you don't want to be a part of that, don't be, nobody is making you stay and nobody is making them do it.

I just care about him because of FEZ. My xbox blew up years ago, im pc gamer now, and i'm interested to check it out (pc release may). After that, i have an opinion about him as game designer. Thats it.

How did she scam people, exactly? She described what the videos would be and people donated if they wanted to (I didn't). Now she is making and releasing them. Sure, she is taking longer than anticipated, but that's hardly a scam.
