I think this comments section just set an internet record for 'highest percentage of positive Phil Fish comments one location.' Great Job! I'm actually one of the seemingly few Phil Fish supporters out there. He seems like a genuine guy. Can't say that about too many people in the public eye.

This whole segment was amazing but I think the Buckfast Tax needs to become a recurring thing. Also Zoe Quinn reminds me of Charlie Tunoku with that hair color.

I really liked this video and I think I'd go to GDC just to hang out like this.

@1101101: @flacracker: Notice I did not mean this as a statement on their actual person, just how they came off to me on the broadcast. It could totally be that I've hung out with out people that project themselves that way too much or my own experiences color how I view this segment. Whatever the reason, I found this entire segment off putting. It felt like every other party at grad school.

I haven't watched the Lang segment yet so I may find that off putting as well.

Man that many people off camera makes this whole thing terrible. Would have rather had those waiting in the wings to hang out somewhere other than near the microphones.

To the people saying this panel seemed way too much like a grad school party, that's basically exactly what it is: these are all intellectuals congregating for a conference that is basically "this is what is wrong with the industry" meeting "this is what is great about the industry". You talk about your field of study/thing you are working on and why it's so awesome and related to whatever it is you just said. Also there's booze and cameras. This would be way less douchey if we couldn't see it. As for the privilege, of COURSE it's full of privileged people being dickish: it's GDC. If you are poor or don't know the right people, how would you have gone?

Also, I vouch for Max in that he was legit interested in Zoe's bees. We met that beekeeper he was talking about during one of Patrick's Spelunky streams.
