Guys, I am starting a kickstarter to fund the publishing of my Soda Drinker fan fiction. It will be a 10 book epic, with 1 or 2 prequel books. Working title for the first novel is "Soda Drinker: Cups of Conquest".

It is absolutely surreal to see this in video form while I saw this in person at the PAX Booth. Like I was standing a couple feet behind Drew and I could not hear a single thing they said. Also, holy shit I saw this live.

I see a lot of potential for Soda Drinker to become a cross media franchise. Why exactly is the soda drinker in space? Where does bonus soda come from? The prequel novel would answer these burning questions. What famous actor should play the soda drinker in the movie adaptation? My early suggestion is Christopher Lee, he could really bring the role the gravitas it would need. Card games and board games are definitely in order, maybe even a miniature wargame where various soda drinkers compete to collect bonus soda. And then there is the holy grail of cross media franchises, Soda Drinker branded soda. Make it all happen Will.

Where do I give this guy money?

I think that for now the guys usually are very adamant about liking stuff like this in the same way they like the Fast & Furious movies, because they are so stupid. If it comes to a point where SDP or similar ones get lengthy "intellectual" discussions on the podcast I will be the first one off the wagon though for sure/
