this is just a bad tutorial... for a lousy game... and a price tag that is meant to pretend it's quality...

I don't get the negativity in the comments, its a game, it will interest people on GB. Don't like dont watch. Also, speaking as a British person, his accent does not sound fake.

Anyway, so it's just like Patrician, or that other game that involved the Hanseatic trading cities in Northern Europe, only it has pirates? Hmm.

He even uses almost exactly the same line when describing when to sell and when to buy.

I like the UI improvements (graphics, trading slider) but the gameplay seems very close (almost identical) to PR 1 and 2. I'd like to see an in-depth video of the combat to see if that's been improved, since that was lacking in PR 2 and why I like PR 1 more.

Unfortunately, this also seems like the kind of game that will be 40$ at launch and 20$ 3 months after :|

I agree. This seems to be a cut of the early game tutorial. I can't see how this would be meant for promotional purposes. And I really can't see how it would be of much interest to the GB Community.

No commentary or write-up either. Alex probably has a posted content element in his new contract.

Played tons of the PR2. Really nice take on good ol' Pirates. This looks more of the same.

I can't wait to kill traitorous revolutionaries with a tomahawk in Assassin's Creed 3 :P

I think I might pick this up and it being 15% off right now on steam is making it even more tempting.

This reminds me I own Sid Meiers Pirates, I should really play it some time.

I'm actually looking forward to this game.  Might be picking it up this Friday.
