Wow this is weirddddd. Just watched the Co-optional podcast from like, November or something last year where Jesse was talking about this game. Kinda spooky!

Patrick played this on Worth Playing once, didn't he? Or at least the 'proof of concept' gamejam version.

Man, pixel Vinny ends up going through quite a bit in that video.

I get what @patrickklepek is saying, but for the record the original is far more than just an experiment or proof of concept. Spent at least 10 hours playing it. Definitely a whole game. The original game jam version can't be played anymore. The one on their website has been tuned up quite a bit since the first release.

ULTRA EXCITED for this game, though it looks significantly different from the original, which as a core feature only had 1 screen, which really affected how you felt time pass and how you would notice little details about your crew. HMMMmmmm... maybe I'll go write that review I've been holding off on for so long...

Obama will be watching.

I was actually wondering when this game was going to make a full release. I really liked the game jam version.

Is this a game about loan sharks because dang with all the kneecapping.

Is it weird that the main dude always reminds me of Adam Jensen?

This looks rad as fuck.

Devs seem to have a thing for cracking kneecaps….

Is anybody from Sword and Sworcery involved in this? Because the art style seems similar.

But will the NSA be watching?

There's a lot of violence against knees in this trailer.

@bedurndurn: That comment made me laught out loud! And it's pretty damn late here...or early. But you're right! What the hell did knees ever do to anyone?

Naw, that's just the trendy art style for a lot of indie devs these days (long legs spaced far apart, big blocky torso, no facial detail). Everybody liked S&S, I guess, which I still find baffling.
