Looks like someone at Rockstar paid attention to Team Fortress 2 and was really excited about the Meet The Team videos, and promptly blew their figurative load by releasing a bunch of these at once.

Best Character so far

I agree in a sense, but I'm worried about Trevor as a playable character.. It's like Brucie from GTA4.. He was an awesome story character, but I'm not sure how fun it would have been to play as him..

I guess it depends what you're looking for.. I'm not a fan of one-dimensional characters, and while Brucie's annoying demeanour and over-the-top-ness was perfect for that story and those missions, I would have quickly grown tired of having him front-and-center the whole time..

But that's just me, and that's ok... Your comment proves that you can't please everyone all the time.. ;-)

i'm really sick of this over the top characterization rockstar's doing for a while now. i know it's there style but it's so bland now. oh luck, a funny hillbilly that loves booze and tits but he's great at destroying and shooting stuff! i would love to see then ditch the satire and do a real, serious (and i mean SERIOUS) open world game.

Don't know why but I just can't get excited for the game. Might be because I'm a PCler and have to wait even longer? Dunno, nothing about this game excites me somehow

That would be like asking Platinum games to make a gritty and super realistic game. GTA isn't supposed to be a real serious game and it's never going to be. If you want a super serious game, don't play GTA.

I would say that GTA IV was as serious as you're asking for. I mean you couldn't get more depressing than Nico could you?

I feel like Trevor is my least favorite of the three, but I'm still hopeful that I'll end up liking the character.

People always complain about GTA protagonists who proclaim they want to get out of the game, while the player runs over eight old ladies on the way to kill a warehouse full of drug dealers. This guy is their answer to that.
