Guitar Hero 5 - Gameplay Features

OK, so now we're all agreed that Rock Band's mechanics are better suited to multiple players.  Now HMX needs to crib the Jukebox mode, drop-in and out bandmates, and on-the-fly difficulty swapping.

Rockband is simply... Ugly. SImple, no fanboyism it's just ugly. Guitar Hero was first so I might be a bit biased.

As a huge Guitar Hero/Rock Band dork i noticed some subtle differences. The singing is more like rock band now and rescuing people is new for Guitar Hero but both of these things are obviously not new.

Most of the changes are for people who play at expert and play it all the time. So if your just playing with your friends casually yeah i doubt you are going to care.

Wow, saving a band mate, that's really groundbreaking. Wasn't that already in Rock Band like two years ago?

ugh... that version of that song is so bad...
Why not just get the studio version in there?
I mean, sure... having a live version makes it feel a bit more like an actual live experience, but the singer usually can't do as good, and then the song fails
if they just got the studio version and left the vocals with a little bit of range for their own interpretation, then it'd be perfect.

That's a real shitty version of that song.  Iggy sounds different 3,000,000 cigarettes later, so having him perform that song now just loses most of the energy of that song.  Lust for Life indeed.

Rock Band just sealed the fucking deal with that new content app they announced, so GH can have the masses looking for a Guitar Hero: Cold Play.
