Guitar Hero 5 Interview

They have some cool ideas like the party play and being able to use the same instruments and stuff like that. But it seems they are taking the guitar hero franchise the same way they took the Tony Hawk franchise. I think they are just going to milk it until it dies, which will be bad for both Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Thought Rock Band might be able to get by since they have their awesome DLC model.

Hmm...still not that interested honestly.  Sorry but it looks like Beatles: Rock Band is my only other music game this year.

I lost interest in the Guitar Hero games ever since they removed the awesome ability to be able to play the game with the standard xbox controller. That used to be so much fun so I still just play GH3...

I wont lie, this game is looking pretty awesome.

It doesn't sound that appealing to me, I'll probably get the beatles rock band if anything.

Wow fail. We're mainly focusing on guitar, and letting band hero focus on all instruments except band hero is "family friendly music". Wtf. It just makes them seem lazy. What are the drum enthusiasts going to do. *sigh* Guitar Hero continues to be underwhelming and Harmonix is pwning them on all fronts.

I still don't understand why they don't just patch in the gameplay updates and release the tracklist as DLC. It'd be cheaper for them, right?

Actual comment: These games are coming out way too fast for me. I can't keep up with this. What I need is for all of this "Band Hero" stuff to go away so that I can just focus on one franchise at a time.

As a Rock Band fan this looks pretty interesting, Harmonix has some good competition for the next year I think and I'm excited to see what the future brings for Rock Band
