This reminds me of the efforts that teams used to put in to video game commercial ads. I still recall the Joe Montana ads for Madden football from my childhood having production values similar to this.

It also happens to be my least favorite DF game. Depends on what you're looking for, I guess.

Iron Brigade is the most legit DF game for sure, gameplay-wise. I was super bummed out by Psychonauts because it was so charming and interesting in concept but man...it just really didn't deliver on the platforming end. Platformers are my absolute favorite games but it was just so rote and clunky in so many spots that it was really hard to get through it all. That stupid psychic ball you roll on...that's the worst.

I play and buy EVERY Double Fine game. And while I appreciate the humour/art design, I always find them a chore to actually get through. Here's hoping this one is different.

Yeah, of the Amnesia Forthnight games, I only really liked Brazen, but that one seemed to get canned entirely.

The idea seems funny, but I don't buy early access games and Double Fine has three or four of those right now...

I dunno, it's a clever idea but the prototype from Amnesia Fortnight wasn't that "fun". I'll be interested to see how they flesh out the hacking mechanics and make them engaging.

According to a DF staffer I met at the booth (who's name escapes me at the moment) they're going to put it up on Early Access on Steam next month.

This commercial is great, but I played this at PAX this past weekend and WOOF. It is not very good.

Yes, they switched to that model after Brutal Legend tanked.

I'll believe it when I see it. Double Fine games always look awesome in theory, but are underwhelming in practice.

I just love Double Fine so much. Those who didn't back any of their games are missing out on some crazy charming nerdly goodness. Hours and hours, even. Made by 2player productions, same people who did Penny Arcade the series.
