Halo: The Fall of Reach. Good book. I'm pretty interested in this game. Multiple Spartans could be cool.

Wouldn't logic dictate that this game is about the fall of Reach? Afterall, it's called "Reach" and it says that it "Falls" in 2010.

I don't know why everyone is so baffled by this. It's about the fall of Reach, which is what they had just left from at the start of Halo:CE. Read the "Fall of Reach" book.

To be honest, as long as they give it a good story and fun, improved Halo gameplay, they can keep milking the franchise. I love the universe, so I'm willing to go back and play some of the interesting periods in the Halo timeline. ODST doesn't jive much with me, for some reason, so I'm more looking forward to this.

I have no interest in playing yet another Halo game.  Combat Evolved is one of the best games of the last 10 years, but the franchise as a whole is COMPLETELY overrated.

This is a good teaser. Doesn't show much but has me enticed for what is to come :D

Fuck yes! I don't give two shits about multiplayer but enjoy the fiction of Halo.

Halo 3's story left me wanting more, Thank you Bungie for doing it for the people, your pretty rad!

but surely this IS halo 4? halo 3 ended with masterchief on half a ship over a planet that looked like that...

i'm not sure why so much negativity, i thought the first three halo games were a lot of fun. if this one mixes things up by having you fight with other spartans, and presumably without masterchief's lengendary status, it could be good. actually... maybe the action here is what creates his reputation - maybe it could all be a time paradox / loop thing.

anyway, by the time this comes out (probably november 2010) it will be three years since halo 3, which is a pretty long time.

I hope this is the start of several games based on the Halo books. I can't get enough Halo, it's not as groundbreaking anymore, but I still enjoy it even if the gameplay is more of the same.
