Have A "Hot Holiday" With Forza 3 DLC

...wait, I just realized something, the GTR isn't in Forza3!?!?!? LAME!!!

I have a full "GTC" cockpit in my apartment, and I still mainly use GT4, the wheel is just so dam well implemented, and I don't have to hastle like with those dammed pc sims, which by the way always simulate racing cars that no one has ever driven, so I put there "realism" in serious doubt! I drive a GTi, or a Type R in GT4 with a Logitech Driving Force Pro, in my cockpit at home, and it feels DAM MORE REALISTIC than anything else I have ever tried anywhere! EVER!, and I've gone to driving schools with simulators, and took a trip to the Nurburgring!!!   At first I didn't like Gran Turismo, but it has earned my respect after many years of repeated excellence, Forza has not, THEY CAN'T EVEN GET THE FRONT BUMPER OF A "DEL SOL" RIGHT FOR PETE'S SAKE!! They got it wrong in Forza 2 and didn't even bother to fix it in Forza 3!!! Forza doesn't have any "proper" wheel support, other than the obscure fanatec, there car list is unimpresive, and there material shader for taillights and headlights REALLY gets on my nerves, it's like they've never seen a car in person! Forza has a LOONG way to go before it earns my respect.  ...Dam, this comment turned into a rant, sorry. "

I just gotta ask --- how many cars are really needed? Who is going to drive 400 different cars in a game? If a "benefit "is something you don't care about, it is not a benefit --- it's just something the software does.
 
GT5 can have it's thousands of marginally different cars. It's just like Borderlands, much as I love it, claiming that they have billions of guns. They have 6 or 7 varieties and all of the guns are just minor changes to the basic models.
 
I won't drive all of the cars in Forza 3 presently. I'm not going to spend money for more cars. And I don't think having a metric ton of cars is really all that impressive.

More cars doesnt make one game better then the other. Sure its nice but really the more cars in the game means the more cars going unused since most people dont use every car in the game.

As far as I see all of this it's just Microsoft's same old tactics of copying already existing successful products, making uninspired lack luster versions of them and calling them their own.  And I don't care about damage... it is a game. Sure its funny to see the cars get wrecked... but it SUCKS to drive them after. You just have to restart the damn race b/c your car is fucked up. I would rather no damage, so you know, I can keep racing in the racing game I paid for."

but GT has tons more tracks, off-road rally tracks, nascar, tons more cars, support for better wheels, better graphics and is more realistic and fun overall as a driving game.

Is it just me, or are the wheels in those slow-motion shots consistently spinning faster than they should?

That Stirling Moss SLR looks like a great "compensating for something" car. Even more so than the normal SLR!

There are so many cars in Forza 3 already I cant see spending another dime on more cars.  Still, its great that they put these out for fans of those cars.

The DLC page says that it is 400 points. That's not too bad if you really like a few of those cars. I think there are enough on the disc to keep me happy for a while though.
