Call me a crazy person, but the only thing I've ever cared about in the Tekken games is the story.

I'm sure this isn't the last Tekken, all it says is 'The Final Battle.' I imagine thats just wrapping up the Mishima legacy storyline. Heihachi, Kazuya or both will probably end up being killed. And Jin will keep on being Jin, the megalomaniac that he is. Or Jin could be killed too just to wrap everything up entirely, who knows.

The real question is, what is Tekken without those guys? I hope they shake things up in this, it's been effectively the same game remade since 3 really.

I'm right there with you dude.... I don't know why, I don't even really know how, but somewhere along the line I got way into the Tekken story despite how batshit crazy it is.

Doesn't seem like such a crazy dream. Should be a relatively simple port and Namco Bandai is no stranger to PC development. I'll probably pick it up for PS4 regardless, but, hell, I certainly hope it comes to PC too in this day and age.

I enjoyed the story up until 3. I didn't play Tekken 4 because it came out during a time when I didn't play video games at school. I played a lot of 5, but I kind of spaced on the story.

@hunter5024: Yeah me too, boy I hope it's good, last time I played Tekken was on PSP and it was great, and I do not enjoy fighting games that much.

@hunter5024: What do you mean by weird spot? I guess that free-to-play game and the SFxT clusterfuck? Tekken Tag 2 was amazing though. Probably the best Tekken ever.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to see them together so much?

I'm not huge on fighting games, but I really like Tekken. It's my favorite fighter for sure. Also, I played all of them, which is pretty crazy to say at this point. Also, also, Tekken 4 is the most underrated fighter ever. Yeah, it didn't have a ton of fighters, but it was really good. I actually liked it better than Tekken 5. It felt better. Tekken 6 was good.

Looking forward to this. Will definitely buy.

Tekken is my least favourite fighting games series. But i am very interested to see what they will do with 7. Tekken is the only series that hasn't going back to the drawing board. And even the Tekken player say its time. They are not getting new players into TTT2 and 6 before that. Will it be arcade first like 5 and 6?

@paulunga: Yes I gave TTT2 my game of the year that year, it was excellent. But after a game like that, I don't feel like they have anywhere to go. It had just about every major character, alive or dead. How do you top that? I don't think they can just add a few new characters and call it a day like they usually do. Then there was that crazy story mode in 6, which left very few loose ends. I suppose I say they're in a weird spot because I have no idea what this game is going to look like. But that's exciting in a way too.

Can't wait, Tekken just keeps grabbing me every time a new one arrives.

This ain't\ Capcom. If they say final it is final. They only have to also do the TekkenxStreetFighter but that is another project.

I love Tekken but their sales keep going down and they have tried Free-to-play but it ain't catching on. I am hyped for this, though

Yeah that's the spirit, complain about no gameplay when for the first time since Tekken 3 we get story cinematics that appear to be worth watching.

Man, the thought of a properly cinematic story mode has me all hot and bothered.

I wish the Tekken games would get PC releases. I'm missing out :(

Not gonna lie, I've always enjoyed the Tekken series over Street Fighter.Bryan Fury or BUST.

Numbered Tekkens always make me raise my head. Very interested in this.

Much more curious to see how they'd handle Street Fighter Characters with their 3D engine. Tekken as a fighting game no longer interest me. It used to up until 5. Then Dark Resurrection, 6 and Tag came out and I kind of grew tired of it. So I really wanted to see how they were gonna handle all the characters in their system. Had been waiting for it for so long, and now the dream is most likely dead.

I still hope though.

Isnt "Welcome to the final battle" just a dumb thing they say in Tekken all the time? I agree with you about Tekken 3 feeling like the biggest step forward in the franchise. Much like Soul Calibur the franchise hasnt really evolved much like other have fighters have. Some would say it doesnt need to which is fine I guess. But at the same time if they fuck it up by making it too different they can always revert back to something more familiar. Just like Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter and Mortal Kombat have done.
