I hate trailers that are just "we made a logo you guys" looking forward to seeing some gameplay though

That's totally Michael Gambon.

According to that article, they removed just about every element that would make it a TES game, and instead made a generic WoW-clone. Super disappointing, but hopefully it turns out to be cool.

what a bad idea, the best series of single player games goes mmo. this better not in any way effect elder scrolls 6. skyrim made plenty of money so the is probably scale for both.

I also don't understand why anyone thinks this game is a good idea. I finally gave up on MMO's about 5 years ago after playing many of them for years up until then. One day I realized that they just aren't good GAMES.

Man.. If there's one MMO that i have no interest in.. it's this.. My elder scrolls experiences are meant to be solo.. my world.. my god moding if i want. This just.. has zero spirit of why I play an elderscrolls game.. blah.

Man, everyone is piling on to crap on this before any real information is out (leaked scans aside). MMOs are MMOs, if you don't like them, don't play them, but it isn't like they aren't going to make TES6 now since Bethesda isn't even making the game. The MMO market is bored, it needs TItan or this to be good.

While I can't fault them for trying a MMO I do not think people really wanted that. I think most people who want an Elder Scrolls MMO wanted a co-op experience which they can get in a MMO but would be better built into Skyrim.

It's amazing what you can do with a high-poly model, a lot of depth of field, and some generic fantasy gibberish.

It could be cool, I'll just do the old WAIT AND SEE technique. I'm sure they'll continue making proper elder scrolls games too.

I would be so excited after seeing this trailer if I hadn't read the Game Informer piece first. This should've been released five years ago.

Wish they just built in 4 player Co-op for Skyrim instead. Don't really feel like playing another MMO. They just can't hook me like they used to be able too.

I stopped playing Oblivion when I had the highest level armor and weapons and was very close to mastering all the skills I wanted to master.

WHAT IF, they figured out how to make the leveling last 2 or even 10 times as long with MORE GAMEPLAY, more depth, more mechanics....Then they also figured out how to incorporate user made dungeons and quests into the story, user made geography and let you start the game in any of the provinces.

Instead of doing all that theyre going to tackle "multiplayer".....good grief

While I wasn't all that jazzed for an Elder Scrolls MMO your mention of tab-target, hotbar, etc, killed it for me. MMO worlds just feel so strange, there's not enough of that open world randomness that makes single-player open-world games so alive. I mean if they ever got Fallout or Elder Scrolls as we know them online it'd be awesome, but right now it's probably impossible. Still this will no doubt be the no.2 MMO in the world for the foreseeable future... it'll come as close to WoW as anybody ever has IMHO.

...I hope the Kingdoms of Amalur MMO is dead for their own sake...

At least it's taking place in the Second Era, so the whole story of the main TES games can still conceivably move forward regardless.

I also found this trailer hilarious with its portentous voiceover channeling Lord of the Rings. This whole evil dark force is just Molag Bal flipping out, isn't it? The dude who banged Vivec?

Why do game companies still make trailers like these? They are always a letdown to everyone.

If this really is a WoW-type MMO then they've totally missed the point of people wanting an online Elder Scrolls game.
