ctOS. I KNOW THIS!!

They've taken some cues from Rockstar when it comes to trailers.

In Fall of Cybertron you released Metroplex and turned the city into your weapon.

Transformers, Watch Dogs.. IT'S ALL CONNECTED!

Looks complicated. Luckily, I 5p34k 1337.

Christy Mack looks like she has man hands in that thumbnail.

It looks alright. Its not as interactive as Assassin's Creed so I dunno.. Maybe.

I have the PS4 bundle with this preordered, so I hope its actually good....

I like how they implemented this hacking system. While it is reminiscent of far cry 3, it at least makes sense to do it by districts, instead of just starting the game with a cell phone that hacks everything. It makes it more believable

I think im equally interested in the cross-gen differences of this game and the game itself. I look forward to a comparison video of ps3/ps4 and 360/Xbone versions.

Hitman, GTA and now Watch Dogs with this whole infomercial style trailer.. I like it.

So I didn't see this one yet, and I'm gonna pose a question here that is not necessarily related to this trailer. Is anyone not fed up with the fact that these days trailers give away to much information about the game?

I know it's not mandatory to watch these things, but still.

Edited by cb1115

Pretty game is pretty.

I always thought hacking was just like the movie swordfish...now I'm sad

Edited by sissylion

"Hey, chief? You know, with those hacker guys able to completely shut off part of the power grid just by pressing a few buttons on their phones, maybe we shouldn't let them hold them up in the air when we arrest them?"

"What? Nonsense. You're fired."

My gtx 770 is ready.

I get what they're going for with the whole Big Brother premise, but it's really hard for me to watch the trailers for this game and not see the protagonist as the bad guy. Seriously, exploding a steam pipe to escape from the police? Seems a bit wanton.

That said, if you can beat this game without ever using your gun, I'm interested.

What do you think it gave away? It just showed some gameplay elements, that seems fair game to me.

So this city wide OS doesn't have a team(s) of security experts that would try to isolate and fix their vulnerability after the first successful hack?

oh-key :(

Edited by Aviar

I can't wait for this game. Have this game ordered as a bundle for DAY 1. Plan on taking a few vacation days to play this.

Edited by Cold_Wolven

Still on my list of launch games to get.

alright.

We're still playing video games, dude.

Haha, he totally used that guy's Kinect to watch him dance. I TOLD YOU M$ WAS EVIL!

@ross2075: Makes more sense than hacking the city with a smartphone ;p

I can accept the dumb premise of the game but I still dont understand the appeal. All the hacking seems to do is trigger things in the enviroment Syndicate style. That blackout ability seems pretty cool but even then it's not enough to base a game off of. Hopefully the driving and shooting are good. (and they said there are 75 "hacks" so chances are it'll get more interesting and i'm just being impatient)

Also I heard Reflections are involved so that's something.

You can't hack the ctOS to delivery you free deep dish pizza? lame.

Yeah, playing as some sort of Homeland Security thug doesn't seem very appealing to me.

How hacking works: Press "use" button when your crosshair moves over one of the pre-set events, of which we have 75 different versions and through the course of the game you will be using 5 of those version every 5 seconds.

Yep games are getting supper innovative. Still don't understand the hype around this game. The only interesting and different thing from this years E3 are TC's The Division by Massive, the Warhammer 40k MMO announchement from Behaviour and maybe Bungies Destiny. Everything else is something that's already available on store shelves with different coating.

Looks like... Assassin's Creed. :\

Oh shit the "raise bridges" part really got me excited, so glad I got this version of the pre order on Amazon.

All of which, besides the Warhammer MMO, is only on console, which is incredibly disappointing.

And very painfully too, they recently showed the Abstergo(who cares how its spelled) bit from the Ass Creed 4 and it looks similar to bits of this game.

It's the most lazy game making you could imagine.

I think 4:39 is the most interesting shot in the trailer. Six SKUs for one game? That's nuts.

I don't even, what?

Aside from that Aisha Taylor video a few weeks back watch dogs has put out the best looking open world gameplay trailers to date. The A.I. lighting and weather effects all look incredible.

Maybe the AC team took some elements from watch dogs to make the part of their game that takes place in the ''present''. But honestly, who the fuck care? That part is sure to be less than 5% of the whole game.

Also:

AC: assassins, Renaissance, US revolution, pirates of the Caribbean, melee focused game

Watch dogs: modern day, third person shooter, hacking, driving game.

Totally the same.

also Assassin's Creed before the one before 3 was dope, so if they borrow elements from that game then I'm ok with it. There are enough elements that are new to this game, they don't all have to be new.

Looks fun, hope all those cool hacks don't make you overpowered.

This is definitely going to my PS4 launch game.

Also, Pretty much have a Lisbeth Salander in the game.

Posted by Missacre

I just hope this game really is as fun as everybody's making it out to be. I don't want to be disappointed YET AGAIN this year.

@white: This game is creepy.

I just hope you're not playing as government agent douche. Do we know about the story yet?

This game actually could be disguised government propaganda. "Hey look how cool spying on people is!"

This game is creepy because the theme they're messing with isn't fictional. There are tens of thousands of worthless bureaucrats that can do much of the shit they're talking about in this game. Look at your bank records, use your webcam to spy on you, etc. etc.All in the name of this nebulous concept of "security" that's been used since the beginning of time to destroy your privacy and your freedom.

Even though the mechanics of the game could be OK, I think I'll be taking a pass on this game.
