Best DLC by far, it's been incredible since the opening. Tina sucks, but the D&D business is fantastic.

So aparently this is the best Borderlands DLC ever... I'm not kidding, it really does seem that way from the reviews this is getting.

I love the idea of this DLC. Tiny Tina also seems a bit more tolerable and more humorous in this one. Definitely more intrigued by this DLC then any of the others.

This is an awesome idea, but if Tiny Tina just toned it down some she would be much more enjoyable.

The most hateful sense of humour in a videogame I've experienced for a while. The previous winner was probably Duke Nukem. A big hand to the guys at Gearbox

Yeah IDK what I was getting out of Borderlands 2 towards the end. None of the characters were real funny though that kitty milk guy CREEPED me the fuck out. Who I really didn't like was the guy missing all his limbs, too involved to explain why. Phony ass-hole. Tiny Tina I just felt sorry for in a wary sort of way. Didn't want to piss her off. I can see now why I chose Roland and that similar character. Man you find that special one hitter and Iike weapons.. though it still isn't exploiting the game ..I know.

I don't trust Gearbox anymore, though I think they still have a handle with Borderlands. It was an ugly place to hang but there was worthwhile reason to do so. Still the weak story dumped you on the curb.

My fav was Island of Dr. Zed. And another I think I liked

I don't like Tina's jokes, I also don't like Claptrap's jokes. Borderlands isn't a game I play for humor, as Gearbox can't do anything funny. I play it for the sci-fi, and the gimmicky, shallow RPG gun system.

I haven't played Borderland 2 at all (or even own the game) But that was pretty good I like the interaction between all the characters and the hilarity & Entertainment of having Tiny Tina as the Dungeon Master.

Oh the long, hard fall of Gearbox. You make Borderlands and jump up towards the top, then make the incredibly boring and disappointing Borderlands 2, and we'll try not to mention Colonial Marines.

Borderlands 1 was great, but BL2 seemed to just suck the life out of everything. And I REALLY hate the guns and sights in bl2. Sure you added more gun varieties, but they are pretty terrible, and just further diluted the pool of good guns. I could play the first game multiple times through. The second game I'm still bringing myself to beat even once.

Tiny Tina is a great character.

But the GB staff hate her, so ...

To be clear I'm not saying that people here hate her blindly just because the staff do. That would be reductionist and wrong.

But they did get the hate train rolling in the first place. And this site is also the only place I saw such a high percentage of people with such a hugely negative reaction to the character compared to the reception elsewhere.

Just that these guys tend to sway/skew opinions, after all if they didn't they wouldn't be very good at their job.

Personally, I have no problem with the way the character is written, I just think the delivery is subpar to the point of being grating. So I don't hate Tiny Tina as a character, but I sure as fuck hate listening to her talk. I felt that way before every listening to the GB staff talk about it. While I agree with the observation that they tend to sway popular opinion on this site (or at least how vocal it is), there are certainly those of us who aren't swayed, and in fact disagree with the staff's opinions on some things pretty regularly (even if we still respect them). Maybe we're just quieter.

I think there is a mix of people who know to take some of the GB staff's (specifically Jeff's) views with a pinch of salt, and will make their own critical appraisals without hating Tina because Jeff hates Tina, and some people who will be influenced by mob adoption of the views stated on the bombcast. Jeff is unapologetically honest in the views he espouses. People should understand that he will voice and stand by his opinions, even (and especially) if they are unpopular. I am sure most of people have heard him say things that they strongly agree and disagree with (he could not be more wrong about Half Life 2, though he has a point about Yoshi's Island).

I didn't mind Tina at all, chuckled at one or two of her spaz-outs, but I knew it was Ashly Burch and I already knew about and loved HAWP. I get that she could be grating if you have zero knowledge of HAWP and make no association between the characters, so I'm kinda surprised she is taking a more prominent role.

@tennmuerti: Pretty much that. I didn't see the hate until it was brought up and then it just showed up. As for the DLC itself I am interested in the 'dealing with death' part because in the main-game itself they sort of just regulated Roland's death to one little mission in which she wasn't even present in. I want to see how they make this work.

That's exactly what I was thinking.... just not sure I want to get back into BL2. Felt less Diablo, and more WoW. I don't want to farm a single mob because only it can drop "this thing." I enjoyed just blowing random shit up, and sometimes getting a purple P90 that fires 4 bullets per shot, but has an 80-round clip for a total of 320 bullets, and use my high-orange SMG to regenerate bullets.

I think they lost me after the pirate DLC.

@onekillwonder_: while I agree with the abysmal drop rates for most unique loot, I've had good luck farming loot midgets on the "Doctor's Orders" quest in UVHM. I got several legendary and pearlescent weapons and grenades that way. The only thing they don't drop is shields, unfortunately.

Jesus, I can't believe there are actually people defending Tiny Tina. I love Borderlands 2 but she is probably the worst game character I've seen in the last 10 years.

I don't care what people say, this looks hilarious and Tiny Tina is awesome! I feel like people who thought Saints Row The Third was funny don't like Tiny Tina. I probably laughed once during my entire playthrough of SR3. It just wasn't funny. I found more humor in Psychonauts because they don't rely easy sex jokes constantly.

I really liked Tiny Tina in BL2.

Brevity is the soul of wit, the pacing of the gags may be somewhat laboured and make the whole thing fall a bit flat.

however it's a great idea I'm in.

I'm wiling to give Tiny Tina a second chance, doesn't seem unbearable in what I'm seeing here. Also I'm totally biased considering the ugliness of the Ashly Burch's recent personal tragedy.

Oh my gosh! I never heard about this (and why would I?). God bless her and I hope things turn around!

Really don´t get all the hate for the Tiny Tina character on here! There are only a handfull of missions in Borderlands 2 she is in and most are optional.

I´m actually really looking forward to this DLC for some extra content since i´m still playing it off and on and its the last bit of DLC from the season pass so i´ll definitely play it. Looking at this trailer i think it is pretty cool how she narrates the level and enemies you come across, i wonder if that sort of thing will happen through out the DLC.

So far i´ve enjoyed every DLC pack they´ve put out, except for the Pshyco character because i think its too expensive for a single character when you already have 5 to choose from.

I'm way into the setting for this one. Fantasy D&D style with skeletons and dragons? Sure thing.

Also I have no real problems with Tiny Tina. I get why she'd irk some people, but nothing about her ever bothered me personally. And I adore Borderlands 2, as much as I wish it wasn't quite as packed with last-month's meme references as it is. Mechanically it's still one of my absolute favourite games to play.

after reading the comments of this video, i have discovered that me and my friends were the only ones that enjoyed her character in the campaign. she was actually my favorite mpc. roland was kind of boring, the drunk sniper guy always bummed me out with his attitude. brick was pretty fun, and i lol'd every time lilith said "sup".

looking forward to this dlc, as ive been itching for a reason to shoot more things in this game.
