This will sound weird to some people, but I seriously love the hell out of tropico. That first game has hundreds of hours of fond memories for me.

Not at all, the games seem to be well respected. I picked up Tropico 4 a week or two ago, and I love it. Kind of bummed I watched this, because it's kind of making me wish it looked as good (especially the character models).

@sesquipedaliant: He's a Time Lord, every 100 years he regenerates into a new body(which looks exactly the same as the previous one).

I suck at Tropico since 3. I guess I should mess around with 4 now that I have it, even though it's basically 3. Definitely gonna skip 5 unless it comes in a humble bundle or something.

So is El Presidente an immortal vampire of some kind? You think after a 200+ years of ruling, the citizenry might start questioning his agelessness.

I've recently been having a great time with Tropico 4 after picking it up in a cheap bundle. I wasn't expecting a Tropico 5 announcement, but I'm very excited about this.

Well, this has to be good if Hooked Gamers said something positive in a preview.

I can't roll my eyes hard enough.

i was getting kind of excited until i saw it was coming to xbox 360 and ps3. Now I'm not so sure.

It actually says ps4, which is weird. Why 360 and ps4? Anyway, 3 was on consoles as well, so i don't think there's much to worry about.

I've never played a Tropico game before, but now seems a good time to start. Looks good.

I really enjoyed Tropico 4, even though the missions became really easy and repetitive once you figured out a surefire way to grow and sustain your economy. Pretty stoked for this.

Doesn't sound weird at all. City Builder games are almost always enjoyable. At least to me.

This one looks to be shaping up to offer a good time for aspiring El Presidents of the world. I can't wait to revisit Tropico. :)

I'm not much of a city builder type, but last year I picked up Sim city and Tropico 4. Gotta say I had way more fun with Tropico than I anticipated, and Sim City didn't take,at all.

Anyway this one looks pretty good, I'll probably grab it on a steam sale.
