Here's Your First Look at Turtle Rock Studios' Evolve

A new Giants: Citizen Kabuto? Except probably without the rad RTS elements and the third playable race I guess. Man that game was awesome, played it for hours on end at some LANs.

This looks like to could be pretty dope. Definite Brute Force vibe here, which was a game with great ideas but poor execution. Hopefully this will be a great co-op experience in the Fall.

Not a fan of the character designs, but I'm interested in what sort of game this'll be.

The monster is also player controlled by the way. It's not very clear in this teaser.

Game looks very generic just like L4D and something is just off with that cover of Mother.

Mother is supposed to start soft and then build but it stopped building up before it got to the peak.

That is one weird ass Danzig cover right there.

I can't help but notice how much better these character designs are than the ones from Titanfall.

Although I do not approve of the crappy generic female sniper design/idea.

Also, bullets/projectiles > lasers.

Nice trailer, nice cover. Can't help but wish it was this version instead, but licensing would probably be weird since it's a live recording for a website.

You've got it twisted. The monster's is a backwards LOVE, while all the hunters seek is Ecstasy.

Nice catch. Was wondering why they chose to break the logo up like that, but it makes sense as 4 vs 1 with the E on the end having the same weight (box) as the other letters.

For people who are saying the character designs are bad, according to their website, skins and alternative hunters will unlock as you level up. IGN also has an article with an additional video that better details the game mechanics.

This might be the first Monster Hunter game I play.

Anyone saying that cover of Mother was good is a ridiculous person. They completely sucked all of the energy out of it. It is a song that's supposed to start slow, but that's only for like ten-fifteen seconds and then it heats up. Slow pretty much all the way through just made me sad. Lady didn't have that bad of a voice, but gawd that pacing sucked.

what evolution of multiplayer... its only 4 players

God this looks so good.

I'm getting a whole "boss battle" vibe from this and that's really exciting. It's all 4 versus 1. Four players against one really big player who can evolve into something bigger and scarier...

Note the logo is E-V-O-L versus E. I'm guessing the E,V,O and L are the beginning letters for what the four characters are going to be called. What does the E stand for?

I watched the gameplay of this on Eurogamer earlier. Sci-fi guns and giant monsters, this looks fantastic. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for zombies in video games. (Yeah, right!)

The next evolution of Borderlands? That or 2K's answer to the abortion that should have been Overstrike.

I think all the characters except the woman and the dark grey-bearded man, look dumb. The designs of the characters are kind of all over the place.

I am sure if they really wanted to they could have gotten the actual Danzig to sing it....he probably needs the money.

Ugh, I'm really, reallllly not digging the characters. Whatever, at least the game itself looks pretty damn great.

That trailer has some pacing issues, but the game sounds interesting.

I like seeing that CryEngine is really picking up steam, been used for quite a bit of games recently, its a heck of an engine in my opinion.

Game looks really interesting though, need to see more to really sell me though

This game looks really interesting.. 4vs1 and the hide and seek elements seems cool, and coop games vid some friends is always fun even if thae gme is not that great.

Hopefully this scratches my Monster Hunter itch while I pray for MH4U on WiiU.
