Here's a Quick Glimpse of Monolith Soft's New Wii U RPG

So we've got some weapons from Xenosaga, battle system from Xenoblade, and mechs and logo tease that are evocative of Xenogears.

My body is ready.

Time to buy a Wii U.

That looks like Shulk, and this is probably a Xenoblade sequel.

Yep, this is probably the thing that makes me a buy a Wii-U.

I bet the entire Bomb Crew will be totally dismissive of this game.

That is exactly what I want. They did so many things right with Xenoblade Chronicles and this looks like that taken even further so I will happily buy a Wii U when that comes out.

Edit: This better come out in the UK/US otherwise I will ... cry? Yeah, that sounds right, I'll actually cry in disappointment.

This looks like a HD remake of Xenoblade or a sequel.

I am now happy with my purchase of a WiiU. This along with the other announcements from Nintendo Direct have me pumped about the near future of my new console.

Not a remake. It's either a sequel or a very similarly themed game. Either way, HOLY SHIT.

Monolith is making a Xenoblade successor that also looks a little like a Phantasy Star game? YES! YES! YES!

EDIT: And the music composer, Hiroyuki Sawano (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiroyuki_Sawano), is the same person that composed the great music for Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. This will be his first video game project. Sweet!

Xenoblade + Dark Souls is what I'm getting out of this and I'm okay with it even if it's a gametime extending grind like Monster Hunter.

I have been waiting for exactly this ever since the Wii U was announced.

If Xenoblade could look awesome even at 480i on the Wii, this game will be amazing.

definately a xeno game, combat looks almost like Xenoblade especially the ability bar... might be a sequel to xenoblade :P  either way i'm ready.

I just decided to buy a WiiU last week when Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate comes out, and Nintendo is certainly making my purchase of that system justified. First Monster Hunter and Bayonetta 2, now this? I was a doubter about the Wii U, but...it's looking pretty good right about now.

I'm into it. Now also give me an Epic Yarn 2 or a new Fire Emblem and I just might be forced to buy a Wii U.

I don't know why you'd be excited for the other Monolith, they haven't released a halfway decent game since Condemned 1. Its been hot garbage from them since 2005.

They had me already with the quality experience I had from Xenoblade Chronicles, and how it changed my mindset on JRPG's in the long run. All I hope for is that this one is simultaneously launched in all territories, rather then waiting a couple of years for North America to get it. Nintendo hopefully learned that these kinds of games makes the company successful, and only through support can these seemingly "poor selling" games become some of the most successful in that console.

Xenoblade ability bar and the same healing animation with the gun that Sharla used? Okay yeah gonna buy a WiiU.

Gotta say, I didn't play Xenoblade on the Wii, but goddamn if this doesn't look tempting. Question is whether or not it's tempting enough to drop money on a WiiU.

It kinda reminds me of Skyrim, just in a more interesting world. And (maybe) a better combat system.

WiiU is showing good stuff for the future, might be tempted to get one if the promises prove to be legit.
