Crysis 2 was such a letdown. The first was so good.

Do not buy! or at least wait 'til maximum edition. Crytek didnt do anything about cheaters in multiplayer in Crysis 2 and I'm pretty damn sure they wont do anything here. Last game wasnt even worth playing only cause every room had at least 3-4 cheaters and infinite suit armor abilities, which really just makes it more annoying. Honestly, just dont buy this or wait 'til it hits the bargain bin. There! I saved you from reading a review!

They blew all their money on the nano suit so the only weapon they could afford to give you was a bow.

All this stuff may make the multiplayer seem fun to some people, but every time one of the "bonuses" gets used I don't think about the player using it, I think about the player getting surprise-killed from behind. Cause that will ALWAYS be me.

Been having buttloads of fun in the alpha. Can't say much more than that. But I will be buying Crysis 3.

Seems like one of those ideas that you have with your friends that really wont pan out well. The trailer makes it feel cinematical, but I doubt any form of event like that will actually happen. Having you completely camo'd will do nothing but enrage people unless there are ways of preventing it from happening.

We'll see!

This just acts as a repellent to me.

No surprise here, but the trailer confirms the game has an unlock system where you have to sit and wait for hours to be allowed to use the game's customization options. I think that's various degrees of tedious in case you couldn't tell. And every single game does it nowadays.

Then, sort of like in this video, the publisher may poke you and say:

"Hey, do this thing and we'll make it less of an inconvenience for you!"

Skipping past part of it is here used as an incentive to get more pre-orders. Elsewhere EA and Ubisoft is charging to unlock everything in BF3 and AC3. They've designed a system where they've identified a need for people to (pay to) circumvent it. If that's not a sign of bad game design I don't know what is. And arguably that's a multiplayer cheat.

EA says it "will help you get caught up to more experienced players". AKA it inherently creates balancing issues.

Ubisoft says: "People who have little time can use Erudito Credits as a shortcut..."

ME3 MP says: "I'm a $60 F2P abomination."

Don't much care for it. The tedium of the grind or the monetization of it. The sense of one affecting the design of the other is hard to escape as well.

Bleh.

Oh man, regardless of how the game turns out, that trailer is such a blunder. The Crysis footage for the bonus copy at the end looked like a way more exciting game. They really aren't going to recapture the magic are they?

I disliked Crysis 1 at the time and enjoyed Warhead simply because it was a more streamlined and better-designed game. I have hopes that Far Cry 3 is actually going to make me appreciate open-world shooters, because so far every entry in the genre just hasn't been as tight as I like my shooters.

I miss the excitement Crysis 1 brought who knows what the series could of been if they didn't dumb it down it's sad that it's just another generic Micheal Bay shooter now.

id probably argue that Crysis/Crysis Warhead were probably the best single player FPS experiences i had in the past ten years (though i didn't finish either). the pretty much freeform jungle environment and sorta stealthy gunplay set it above the rest for me.

For some reason I got an invite to some alpha or beta of this game in my email and just deleted it. After watching this I still do not regret it.

Looks very cool.
But I said the same thing about Crysis 2, and didn´t end up buying it.

@xMrSunshine: Crysis 2 wasn't bad, even though it clearly was far more linear. They showed some Crysis 3 gameplay that looked closer to Crysis 1 a while back and didn't even beat it into the audience that it was JUST LIKE CRYSIS THIS TIME GUYS like Ubisoft did with Blacklist, so I think you're overreacting. I don't think it's going to be as open as Crysis 1, but calm down.

I didn't like the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo, so this isn't selling it for me. Until I actually see some matches instead of scripted cool moments.

Thank god the original Crysis and Crysis Warhead aren't going anywhere and continue being awesome because of mods and just being fun sandbox games. Crysis 2 was bad and this doesn't look good either with its bows and shit. It's going to be a corridor shooter with a fancy suit that talks and goes invisible for short periods of time, I can just fucking feel it. I bet the multiplayer has perks and level progression. It's always a great sign of things when the trailers are about 3 exclusive dog tags you get if you PRE-ORDER NOW and other useless swag. 
 
It's a god damn fucking shame to see how this franchise is getting beat to shit. Crysis was fucking great if you just appreciated the parts it did well and understood what you really could do with all the tools it gave you.

Kinda a shame they didn't release a new Turok game along with all of the other "we have a bow in our game cause fuck it" games that has been coming out this year. This bow even resembles the one in the original Turok

I don't know man. Crysis 2's Single player was way too much of a bore towards the end. I'm keeping a open mind for the third game.

The game looks cool. Not going to pre-order.

I like this mode idea in theory but I am guessing that it is not fun to be on the LAMBS side ... you know, because I don't like being slaughtered much. That is the very reason I quit playing multiplayer FPS games in the first place, getting into a game and not even getting a shot off. Don't get me wrong, this mode looks cool, but will it be fun to play?

I really hope they do this well on consoles. I mean, the 360 version had some really nasty bugs in it. The whole presentation side was marred and it made it more disappointing than it had to be. The PS3 version had its fair share of bugs as well, although I didn't beat that version so I can't compare that to the other two, and the PC version, while I have it, I didn't play it through on that 'cause the PC I played it on couldn't run it well; I'm sure that's the version to play, but since I'm mostly going with consoles for now, and probably by the time this game comes out, all I care for is the console version, and I hope they get it down with this one.

Oh yeah, this game eh? Looks great, bow stuff could be fun, bwaaa.
