Here's a Whole Bunch of Final Fantasy Versus XIII

Did anyone else get an FF9 feeling from the opening sequence in with all the eveningwear followed by the impression you just witnessed a terrible unveiling of the new DMC game?

I am usually not a big fan of JRPG, mainly because of the melodramatic themes, but i think i might be able to get with this!

Maybe I'm out of my groove, but neither this nor bulletstorm look compelling to me.  The only reason I'm doubting myself is because Jeff, Brad, and Ryan like where these games are going.

Kingdom Hearts without all the weirdness that comes from building a crossover universe, sign me up.

That looks pretty cool. 
 
I just wish the main character had the suit he was wearing at the beginning of the trailer throughout the game. I find the whole weird short-pant-one-glove thing really off-putting...

Judging from the video, It's like a copy of Final Fantasy XIII had sex with Japan; and this is the resulting love child.

But those characters....ugh

Ok, two things.
First, yeah, seeing a lot of kingdom hearts-esque gameplay in here.
Second, I'd rather play as the driver than the prettyboy.

And this wasn't the actual Final Fantasy 13 because??? 
 
Also. Good to see Raptors are making a comeback into real society. They've been on off season for quite some time now.

dont care much for the character design, but if this game gives you some kind of story arc or at least a main antagonist before the 75 percent mark of the game then it'll be better than ff13 for me.

This would get much more "wow!" buzz if it wasn't tied to Final Fantasy.

This looks amazing and in the right step for Final Fantasy series. Should of NEVER released/made  FFXIII and put this out in its place. Going for traditional turn based to action/hack-slash RPG would of probably kept more people into it. Hoping it has some open exploration and side stuff. Looking forward to this a lot more. O yea and can you stop with the J-Pop Male Idol hair cuts please...

uhhh what? Anyone else think the gameplay looks old and boring? The hack-n-slash gameplay looks straight out of devil may cry, except.. slower...

Some instrumental parts of the soundtrack here remind me strongly of Kingdom Hearts, not to mention the gameplay.

That looks really cool. Glad they finally put out some new video for this game after HOW many years?!

The visuals look absolutely incredible. 

Looks good but I don't see it coming out until next year so I'll save the hype for then.

This just screams Kingdom Hearts.  The combat looks similar, except with awesome exploding set pieces.
 
Hell, I don't even have to guess the guy who did the music in this trailer worked on KH.

Caught this video a few weeks ago when it leaked, looks super great.
 
Some of the robot stuff looked kind of lame, but this is early footage and it isn't really that bothersome I suppose.
 
I think it was extremely surprising to see just how 'modern' a time period this is. I had seen a car on a highway and going through a tunnel before and whatnot, but something about that scene where they skipped the tunnel traffic with the special lane really interested me. That area is exactly like one in real life, which is really cool.
 
Also there is a sort of mafia vibe going on as well, not Yakuza per se, definitely more Mafia. Western influences I imagine.

Final Fantasy set in Kamurocho = you have me intrigued.

Damn looks pretty sick. I was scared to buy + devote a lot of time to XIII because of all the negativity. And honestly I never saw anything from watching it that said I gotta play XIII.  This, however, caught my eye. Quick.

This looks fantastic, but how does it tie to the FFXIII universe?

Looks cool but, is it an action game or action/rpg hybrid?

This looks pretty damn impressive, both the CGI and the in-game graphics.

They surely know how to make very nice CG cutscenes/movies, that's for sure.

I would've really liked another Kingdom Hearts, but hey. I've just got a new game on the DS so i shouldn't complain. The title puzzles me a lot though....

Cool, modern Korean looking highschool kids who use swords even though guns are totally way more effective and available. I can't wait!
