Good trailer? It's just as bad as the Hitman trailer. The first piece of art CD Projekt released made me really excited that someone might finally make an actual Cyberpunk game instead of just calling cyberpunk and then just make a Starwars prequel but now this? fml.

Great teaser.

If this ends up being only half as good as the witcher series, I'll be super happy. Teaser looks fantastic already and together with the Shadowrun revival really tickles my nostalgia bone. Now include Syndicate co-op mode and revive the old cartoon series Mask and Starcom afterwards.

For a teaser, they pretty much got me on the art style and music choice.

@mbr2: Point out one aspect of this that is more reminiscent of Star Wars than Blade Runner.

if that's what you get out of a two-minute prerendered cinematic with not a hint of gameplay, then I agree--fuck your life.

Getting a Ghost in the Shell vibe from this, which is not a bad thing at all.

Looks incredible. Really interested in seeing gameplay now.

I like Cyberpunk and this game is called Cyberpunk so I like this game. I like this trailer too.

@mbr2: Given that Pondsmith is directly working on the game with CD Projekt Red, I'm more than positive that it'll be Cyberpunk. Moreover, this takes place in 2077, which is a good 60 years after Cyberpunk even existed in the first place (remember, the original Cyberpunk took place in 2013).

So ease up and do some research before lambasting it.

This got me right in my Mr. Stud implant. Cyberpunk is such an amazing setting, all of the tropes of the genre are written with pitch perfect quality. Mega-corps with private security forces, the DMZ 'combat zone' with a daily body lotto, and, as above, plenty of cyber psychosis.

I have total faith in PCDR to keep to the great source material, so good!

At this point CD Project has so much credit that I'll buy anything they put out. Witcher 1 and 2 are fantastic games and the way they keep supporting their products after release is just awesome. As for this teaser, well, it's a teaser but it definetly has a cool style and great music.

Oh man. I hope this is good. I'm starved for some cyberpunk in my life and this looks like some old skool-ass cyberpunk and old skool-ass cyberpunk is the only cyberpunk, punk!

Nice, stylish trailer, though. Although the whole "it'll be out when it's ready" thing makes CD Projekt feel like they are pushing a bit too hard to come across as... well, Valve.

While Cyber Punk is probably one of my favorite genres of any type of fiction. I read through the entire like 3000 issue run of 2000AD twice at this point due to that affinity for it. I fucking hate the term, it always makes me think of those raver cyberpunks that are a scourge of the earth.

It's good for a pre-rendered cut scene. Now hurry up and give me a real reason to by a new graphics card, CDProjekt!

@Scratch: God damn I hope so. I read all of the books and if the game is much closer to its completion then maybe they are able to put out Witcher 3 at the end of this or the beginning of next year. I'm so stoked right now.

Well it is based on something that was already called Cyberpunk, although I agree that they should have come up with a better name.

Some cheap bullet-ass bullets too.
