I'll buy it and play it for the free 30 days. The first month is the most fun for any MMO cause everything is new and hectic.

Visually this actually looks pretty damn good. I would like to see more of the gameplay though.

I'm MMO'd out so I'll just pass on this one, to be brutally honest it looks so very very bland.

As much as I'd like to play this, I just can't do another mob-based MMO.

I like the idea of being able to explore ALL of Tamriel, i'm just not convinced we need another MMO. At least not one that doesn't really offer anything different to the marketplace. I think the general feeling is that MMO's really need to shift their systems away from the endless grinding and raiding (which I know isn't the only thing people do, but at least with my experience with WOW, that's all my friends did). Maybe look forward into dynamic player experiences, fluid battles and more dynamic ways to gain levels and use players desire for exploration and friendly combat to drive levelling.

$15 to see Skyfall at the movies had value in it, amazing value, but in the past years MMOs I've had a hard time finding reason to toss in another tenner or $15 after the free month from the game box runs out.

Still hope this ends up better than SWTOR, even if it means it goes GW2 style F2P after three months time. If you let people buy shit they will by shit, get into it!

This isn't The Elder Scrolls. I don't know what this is...

"At level 50 is when the game opens up. You can PVP or do heroic raids"

No thanks. There are plenty of themepark MMOs out there. I don't need another one.

I do like the idea of "being a sneaky guy who runs around healing" I mean that is hilarious.

OMG WHO HEALED ME!? WHO I SAY! WHOOOOOOOOO!?

It looks like a decent MMO from what little we see, but honestly, it doesn't look like an elder scrolls game. I really just wish I could take Skyrim and play it with 2-3 of my friends. That would be the perfect multiplayer experience. Of course, that wouldn't be as (potentially) profitable.

Skyrim's tremendous critical and commercial succes without having any sort of multiplayer or social component must surely mean people want an MMORPG right?

WOW, I can use my mouse to look around and if I press the left mouse button I do an attack! So glad I watched this video and listened to the mechanics of this game.

And also: Frontflips into rivers. Thats what I was waiting for in my Elder Scrolls game.

So it's essentially Guild Wars 2 escalated into something bigger and more badass with more classic group dynamics and an endgame?

Certainly sounds like good fun. Not going to do another subscription based MMO though. Hope they'll copy GW2 in that regard as well.

I like their current pitch a lot better, than what they've had at E3. Cool beans.

Obligatory, "I wish they made an MMO that was Pokemon in the Skyrim engine." comment. Because I do, and I'm not the only one. Alas, it will take an immense amount of change to ever get Pokemon into a MMO, much less into a version that was just 3D with towns, NPCs, and AI battles.

I sorta feel bad for the people making this.  I am sure it is great and all, but there just isn't any demand for another flashy MMO based on level caps and raiding content over and over and over.  If Star Wars can't find a market then I don't see this fairing any better.

I like Skyrim & mmos but this still seems silly. Think I'll just stick with the single player Skyrim & Guild Wars2 over this.

It is going to be really depressing when this releases, doesn't hit anywhere near the numbers they require and the staff get laid off sometime after its gone free to play.

This is amazing!!! It's pretty much just like Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim except that it's online. Oh, and the only other difference is that it looks like WOW, plays like WOW, sounds like WOW, and probably has little to do with the Elder Scrolls.

Me too man, me too.

Give me gameplay video with voice over narration. Or an interview with gameplay shown here and there.

But don't give me these staged, scripted cycle-jerking videos where people are recorded in front of green screens (so it seems like high quality) and praise their own game in generic terms. It's just so unnatural.

I hear a lot of things in that video that lead me to believe it will be heavily instanced and player interaction will be heavily limited in the interest of anti-grief and loot "fairness". Someone up above me used the term Themepark MMO and yeah, I hadn't heard that before but it's an excellent way of describing this type of game. No interest. Not a real MMO.

Looks pretty, feel bad for these guys though. MMO market is pretty stale.

Hope it does well and has some longevity. 1 server tech is clever though, it's always bad news when they announce servers shuttering, they can avoid these PR announcements.

Why would you make a by-the-numbers MMO in todays market? Nobody wants to play what amounts to a 10 year old MMO. Look at how hard TORtanic sank.

They probably started making it 4-5 years ago, when that market was still great.

Interesting video, I guess. I wish it success. Goodness knows we don't need to hear more stories about failed MMOs leading to massive layoffs. However, all that being said, I have absolutely no desire to play this game. I love the Elder Scrolls franchise, but I want my game to remain single-player and offline. I want to be able to mod it anyway I want and not have to worry about other people in the process. I don't want the inclusion of other players to limit what I can do within my game. The Elder Scrolls is special to me because it promotes that personalization.

I look at the scenery and locations in this game and think "man I wish this was a traditional Elder Scrolls game". I don't know why they assume every, or even most, people who play an elder scrolls game want to play (or pay for) an MMO, or vice versa.

I would much rather have a 4 player Elder Scrolls game instead of an MMO. You know, like how Borderlands allows 4 players, but in Tamriel. That would be the best game of all time.
