They have a high bar to meet with how great the Tell Tale stuff is.

I'll never understand why time and resources are wasted on trailers like this that convey nothing about the game. All you've told me is this game is coming. A press release works just fine.

Even for a teaser, that's pretty lackluster content-wise.

That is by far the worst trailer I'd seen all year.

Still not sure why this game needs to exist and if there is a sizeable audience out there that is really excited for it, especially considering the characters and story it will feature. Also, this trailer certainly didn't make me any more excited.

Not "The Walking Dead Video Game" but instead "The Walking Dead: Video Game."

It's very rare that we get an actually good adaptation in videogame form (Telltale's game). It's really unfortunate that they just had to throw this thing out there to damage that good will. I know it's too early to judge, but it's an Activision licensed FPS.

If you hold a shotgun that close to your face, and shoot it, the chances are you're gonna fuck up your face.

When the world goes to hell... they'll still be making video game trailers that DON'T feature gameplay or pre-rendered cinematics. Thanks marketing people, I hope you get eaten first.

I like the Telltale game. I'm not a huge fan of Activision of late. These license game usually are poor quality, poorly funded, made quickly and with no particular inspiration; and it's far from rare that those combined lead to poor sales and the subsequent closure of a studio.

I'm not making any definite statements, it could be great, and for the sake of integrity I won't write the game off before I know anything about it. That said, this is about the most generic and uninspired pairing possible in video games, Activision making/publishing an FPS based on a popular license.

It's a pretty blunt business move and I hope it doesn't crash and burn like those before it, taking down the employees who worked on it in the process.

I can't say much, because I probably couldn't do better, but yeah it's definitely not the best trailer I've seen. Far from it.

agreed. Merl is a raging racist in the TV show isn't he? pretty much (if not completely) a white supremacist, right? why would anyone want to play as that character?

Seems like a terribad idea. But its only a trailer. Guess ill see when it comes out if its good or not.

Wow, so this is going to be a prequel about the two hillbilly characters in season 1 of the show that didnt even exist in the comic book? I was really hoping for it to be a Dead Island type game where you could create your own character. To be completely honest, I feel like Dead Island has been the only game that I have played that truly understands what a survival zombie game should feel like and even that was flawed.

Well, the two of them are pretty much the best thing about the TV show.

Daryl is one of the few characters on the show I don't hate but I really don't have any faith in this game.

I saw that if you pre-order the game at Comic-Con, you get a Necklace of Zombie Ears.

So, yeah....stay classy Activision.
