I hope they fix technical problems with that too, because I still can't play multiple matches on a server, cause when the server changes maps, the game locks up and I have to close the game and reconnect to the server.

Karkand and Oman, I love those maps.

Doesn't Steam scan your HD to a degree just like Origin??

Classic Conquest Assault means one team starts with all the flags, while the other team have to go on the offensive. Almost like an open ended Rush.

Thanks for the clarification. Can't remember playing that but it sounds like fun. Just read somewhere else that the map sizes and number of flags are probably close to what they were in BF2. Can't wait!

I agree, game trailers aren't exactly exclusive to the site so they should be uploaded in their true quality. Even for QL's it should be at least 480p, and I understand the HD option being reserved for subscribers.

Rumour was going around about this being walled off from the regular multiplayer, a la Vietnam. Anyone have confirmation on this?

I can't think of any other site that limits non-subscribers to 360p youtube videos. We have premium subscriptions, and now non-subscribers are getting more and more ads. And we can't get at least 480p videos? I don't care about ads(wouldn't mind having more ads), or the subscription model, but this is kind of disgusting.

Please keep putting out 60fps videos. They are always so pretty.

480p videos don't even exist on this site. They never encode in 480p. High quality video is a paid feature.

I will admit though that as no subs get youtube videos now i see no reason not to put trailers up in higher quality as it costs the guys nothing to link over to youtube now as long as they keep the QL's and origional content HD for subs only go crazy with sticking 1080p trailers up on youtube :)

My god for once i acutally want to get DLC for a shooter Not only do you get new maps, new things to drive ,and more guns!.

Keep it up BF3 if this is the route your going.

Looks good & can't wait, did enjoy Wake Island & curious to see how it works with more recent vehicles (thinking the slower WWII aircraft might be better but will see when it comes out). Also really enjoying the Tron inspired soundtrack on the trailer, too bad it's not in during the gameplay.

In Battlelog BF3 and B2K are separated just like BC2 and Vietnam are on that server menu. But one of the devs said both sets of maps are available in the same rotation.

So... maps will be in regular rotation, some people were clamoring about new weapons carrying over to the vanilla maps. What's the word on that? Because at this point, I just feel very confused as to the nature of the DLC and how it's integrated.

As a side note to other posters -- if you're pissed about this, why not create a thread elsewhere, or go post your concerns in the thread that I'm sure exists elsewhere? No need to be a dick about anything, be it the low quality of the regular videos or someone's subscription status, paid or not.

I remember hearing about the "Back to Karkand" DLC, and I was a bit disinterested. I thought to myself "Sure, that was a good map, but it was a bit brown. Give me Sharqi Peninsula and Wake Island, and I'll give you my money."
