Here's Your First Look at Spec Ops: The Line's Multiplayer Mode

For some reason I remember the older footage of this game looking a lot... better? I don't know, it just seems like it took a HUGE animation/graphics hit for some reason.

It does look pretty dated now for some reason...I actually remembered the gameplay videos to look a lot better than how it showed here.

At this point I guess, we should stop feeding the troll. I was making a broad statement, which should also be evident to you. But since you want to take everything literally. The game looked great when it was first shown, now it looks like a rather old first person shooter. Lastly, if my comments are all you have to concern yourself about; then I feel flattered and sorry for you in equal measure.

I could not tell the difference between the teams at all. Is that a style choice, or what?

how am I going to tell the different when both team are wearing bunch of military gear and paint skulls and stuffs on their helmet/mask...

That just looked like a generic shooter.

Looks okay, but the sand effects look cheap (both in terms of tactics and as a visual) and the animations seem soft. Being on your back and having someone kick your head onto the floor should look painful, no?

Single player looks much better. Which is awesome - that's where the focus should be.

The single player looks interesting thanks to the story, the multiplayer looks generic as hell

This looks on par with Crimecraft... but one of them is Free to play soooo.... :/

@TryNstopME: yea, get it for the SP when it comes down in price, multiplayer seems like it would get cheap real fast.

That trailer makes it look like it would be a Free 2 Play MP game. I do not see myself owning a copy of this game unless I get in some Steam holiday bundle for super cheap.

Looks like it'll be decent, if not particularly noteworthy. Although I doubt anyone's gonna be getting this for the multi. Still, nice that they try to justify/tie it into the story in some way.

The single player is what really interests me about this game.
