In game Micheal transactions ! I am still looking forward to this game though!

Posted by HammondofTexas

Give me some of them Crew Credits!

Posted by BaconGames

I kinda don't! But thanks for asking.

I remember Alex saying he thought the driving felt pretty crappy. Hope that's what they've been focused on improving.

The music is nice. But first I wanna see in game footage because it didn't look great at E3.

It was decent, but not great when I played it at PAX last year, so I guess that's an improvement over crappy?

Posted by Elwoodan

If nothing else that music is GREAT. I hope you get a bunch of that in game.

Gimme some of that hot Michael Transaction!

Also, crewdits.

@elwoodan: I found out what it is! an track called Carpenter Brut by Le Perv.

It is the only thing they have done I found, but it's cool!

Extra DLC you play as his hot sister, Michelle Transaction!

Forced parity and micro-transactions ahoy!

Will be skipping this one for sure.

Wait, co-op? In a racing game? How the hell does that work?

Edited by Humanity

Kinda?

EDIT: Ok, this looks pretty awesome somehow. When that charger drifts into the lane on two wheels it somehow got me super excited.

Everything about this looks like the fun parts of driving around with friends in GTA5 Online, except a lot cooler.

@nags: They also have that always online bullshit that will kick you out the to title screen if you lose connection, even in solo mode. I hadn't seen much of The Crew before today, but it seriously took me about less than an hour to go from "ooo a trailer? maybe this will be good" to "yeah all these things I just read about this game made me not interested in it at all anymore."

Posted by MjHealy

Everytime either The Crew or Drive Club is mentioned, I successfully manage to mix the two of them up. You're welcome?

Posted by Krakn3Dfx

1. 30fps on PS4/XB1

2. Microtransactions (Pay2Win)

3. The Crew developer: "so it's something that’s important to us not to branch out and not do individual things for individual platforms"

4. Loss of net connection = back to title screen, even in solo mode

5. The Crew on PC will require uPlay, even on Steam

Dunno that this is the game for me.

Judging from this trailer i can tell you two things about this game.
1. it has cars in it.
2. it has motion blur.

Posted by Regal

I really got hooked when it zoomed out and revealed that there were a bunch of people playing. I think they're on to something here.

You couldn't discern that it's always-online?

Yea, I remember The Crew, why wouldn't I, it was less than a year ago when they released the first info, not that strange to me that a game, that is on new hardware is delayed, come back in 2016 and say the same thing, maybe then I've forgot the game.

Posted by chilipeppersman

good to know that this is still being made! yay!

Posted by Nags

@arcn: Well this game will bomb pretty hard anyway. I haven't seen one person hyped about it.

Posted by maccaibre

@atomicedge: Wrong way round, the track is Le Perv by Carpenter Brut. Possibly why you can't find anything else by them.

Posted by MeatSim

Are the members of this crew apart of some sort of drive club?

Edited by cavemantom

Crossing my fingers that Reflections can polish Eden's (now Ivory Tower) turd.

TDU was decent for a launch title, but TDU2 was pretty assy from top to bottom.

Having Reflections assist on stuff like Watch_Dogs and The Crew instead of making another Driver is a bummer.

Posted by dezvous

Damn, that's some ugly motion blur.

People really love hating on games before they play them, don't they.
I for one am looking forward to at least checking this out. The new consoles need more racing games.

I thought the headline was "Hey remember The Crow" and was baffled as to why someone would be making a new crow video game.

Posted by SPARTAN3

AHhhh am always a sucker for street cars turning into off road cars it brings out some childhood desire I have hahahah. I really hope they nail the feel of driving on and off road.

Edited by ThatOneDudeNick

I like the idea of it, but the driving looked really shitty from all the video I've seen. I can't describe it, but it seems... off. I hope it's good. It could be super interesting.

Wait, did they say there would be microtransactions? I assumed "Crew Credits" were just the regular in-game money.

Posted by NPfeifer

I hope they got handling down better! It was awful at E3 last year, couldn't accomplish anything.

Posted by Aoi

Was it in question that it was coming out? It was just introduced last year at E3 wasn't it? Can never tell when Alex is being serious...

Edited by VonSoot

Ok. Me likes.

Buying performance in an always online game in particular seems sketchy to me. Why can't peoples' wallets agree with their online whining?
