This crossover seems pretty ill-advised and comes across to me as being desperate. They probably would have been better off never doing this and just developing HD Zelda. But I guess we'll see next year...

Weird. Not liking the flat boxlike arenas or the metal soundtrack, but hard to judge this early.

Yeah for real. Tecmo is doing this, it won't hinder the next Zelda's production in anyway, you are actually complaining Nintendo is giving you something to play on the Wii U.

Plus the Zelda universe is an awesome setting for this. Tons of rad items and spells, lots of cool characters to choose from, I don't get the complaints I hear for this.

Nintendo is doing a lot of weird crossover stuff like Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei and that Pokemon x Nobunaga's Ambition game that came out a while ago. This honestly seems less crazy than those.

About time I say, link always proved himself to be some kind of badass wrecking everything that stood in his way around hyrule, but now we don't have to worry about enemies that can guard his hits so he can totally cut loose.

Also that bomb spam was amazing, I'll get thirty copies just for that.

If they want to experiment then let them. The Zelda you are looking for is coming and this will take nothing away from that. Just don't play it and move on

I, however, will be playing this because it looks like mindless fun. DW always seemed like a boring series to me. Not just because of the gameplay, but the characters and setting. This is a setting I can get behind because I love the Zelda series. Also glad to see some classic zelda items being used. I do believe this is the first time we've seen the fire rod being used in 3D, no?

I'm hoping they go the Game and Wario route and price this accordingly. Because of the repetitive nature of the gameplay I'd say price it at $40 and I'll buy it day one

I never really liked the combat of Dynasty Warrior, but for some reason that looked okay. If it's a Dynasty Warrior game with that Nintendo seal of Excellence then it's Bound to be good, right?

So dramatic.Seems like a pretty no-brainer crossover to me. I don't like Dynasty Warriors at all, but what's the harm? Gamers are so serious about everything. This won't kill the system, relax.

My mind completely froze watching that video, but OK Nintendo - you got me. I never expected this. Fuck! Argh! I have to buy a Wii U now?? I thought for sure my trajectory would be 2013: PS4, 2015: XB1, 20XX: Wii U, but I think I'll swap the bone for the Wii U at this rate. Unless MS buys another Mass Effect exclusive or some shit like that.

@skywarpgold: I was going to say that they are clearly borrowing assets/ideas from whatever Zelda Wii U Core Game they are actually working on. This seems like such an obvious "Hey Real Zelda isnt coming until 2015, but how about this!?"

The new Aonuma Zelda is still the next proper Zelda.

I love the Warriors games. Dumb and repetative but they are some of the best co-op fun I have ever had with friends. This game looks cool, I hope they follow Warriors style and pack it full of other playable characters like Zelda, Zora, Goron, Bird thingyies... Then co-op :"D
