That store is 2 blocks away from my job! I want to touch the games.... O_O

I went to videogames new york when I went on a trip to NYC a few years ago. That place is great. I asked about an imported game that was yet to be released and they actually knew their shit. They also had quite a few of the glass logos that are on arcade machines that were fantastic.

I'm pumped! GBeast! Where has videogamesnewyork been all my life?!

They're gonna get that Dan guy to do repair videos? Will it be like Vinny's arcade machine repair video? Or will it be more like the Big Live Live Show Tested segment where they fixed a PS3?

Also, I think it's odd but also kinda cool that instead of just going to Best Buy or whatever, they went to a local video game shop to buy the consoles. And also Nintendo World, for some reason.

Also that Robin girl looks cute. Frak Vampire Diaries though, Being Human is the shit if you want Vampire drama.

If Vinny wants to move on to Ghosts 'n Goblins games after Castlevania to truly make that resemblance whole, I'm down.

I am now confident that having multiple GB locations will work out really well.

It's really fulfilling to see what was once just a recurring gag becoming legit. Really excited to see where GBE takes things, and a video series detailing how to repair consoles is a good start. Probably not something I myself would be especially interested in, but hey, at least it'd be something different.

As of now, though, I'm just really excited to see more of these Building the Beast videos!

Is that anywhere near Elizabeth Center? Because Elizabeth Center is kinda hot garbage. I remember buying a copy of Roscoe McQueen: Firefighter Extreme for the PS1 there and the jewel case fell apart in my hands somehow. Also everything is bootleg.

it has only now struck me that there is likely a vast majority of users on this site who have never watched how to build a bomb.

Loved this video. When you guys start expanding at Giantbomb East, that guy Dan from the video game store better be at the top of your list. He let you film, knew his shit when it comes to games, and he was wearing a One Piece shirt. That guy's alright with me.

I still miss Vinny being on the couch and on the podcast but this move is already making for great content. Love this, can't wait to see what he and Alex come out with. Also that store was super rad.

I love seeing these kinds of videos. I want to dive more into video production, but I'm a little strapped in my resources. It really helps to see how someone like Vinny can MacGyver together a video without the highest quality materials. I need to start shooting a lot more b-roll.
