shotguns and machetes?? YEAH! The setting looks pretty cool too.

This looks alright from a aesthetic point of view, and the way you build skills sounds interesting, but from a straight game play point of view it doesn't look that fun, at least not from this trailer.
 
I like that your character can wear whatever the fuck they want though. More games should do that.

Looks really interesting and has some neat ideas but the subscription model is a big ol' gate no one wants to scale anymore. It will be GW2 for me.

I like that this isn't another generic fantasy world and I like the Guild Wars 1 style skills where you are limited to a small set of abilities at any given time and have to think about how those abilities will complement one another but, I just don't know if this will be any good.

This game man, so much wasted potential. When I first saw that trailer with the demon thing in the mirror it looked like game of the forever material and then I found out it's an MMO and all of that faded away...

I love the look of the monsters, but the animations look so stiff like they belong in Everquest.

Those animations look pretty poor. :/

Well, I guess it could be cool. A bit hard to decide on an MMO through a video.

@Rawson: Dear god, nothing about that video looks even remotely fun. And yeah, the sex at the beginning just seemed like something thrown in there 'just because.'

What really bothers me though happens around 30:45-30:50 when homeboy says "the dungeon team wanted to give the player the feeling they were fighting something beyond them...something that was out of their control" blahblahblah. IS. HE. SERIOUS?!?! It looks like every other fucking fight you see in an MMO! I'm sorry, but damn, it just looks boring...

@BabyChooChoo: I admit, I laughed when he said that, followed by the boss hitting one dude and everyone making sure they don't stand in the black fire.

We're in the year 2012, and have an entire genre of games where the boss mechanics can't get past "don't stand in the fire." And people call me cynical.

Hmmmm. Interesting to say in the least. I might give this a try.

I get equally dissapointed every time I realise the next MMO is going to play like an MMO.

Developers have to stop making games that anyone can play and start creating games that someone wants to play.
