I didn't get into any betas for this. 
I took it as a sign that the game will not be good.

I'm not really one for MMO's, but if I were ever to play this game, a Bounty Hunter class sounds like it's right up my alley.

As much as I love Bioware, I'm really not impressed by anything we've seen of this game.  The gameplay looks incredibly standard for an MMO and the expanded story/character/single player content are being done better in other MMO's and just makes me wish this was a KotOR III instead. 

Just tell me when it's out Bioware.

Come on! I was really hoping for a release date or winter 2011 or something :(

If the Bounter Hunter is that awesome, why would you pick another class?

Hmm, this is actually the first trailer that looked semi interesting to me. But I am still firmly in a wait and see position on this one.

Sigh. I wish they made KOTOR 3 instead.

I am super annoyed that I'm going to have to buy this game.

I hope I have enough time to put into this. I really, really want to see all of the story stuff and different planets. 
 
But as far as the success of the game, I'm doubtful. WOW is a fucking juggernaut at this point. The problem with entering the MMO space is that there are always huge bugs and balance issues that take serious time to work out. WOW has had years upon years to build and build upon it's content, perfecting it's formula. 
 
If anyone can do it, it's Bioware, and I hope only the best for the people that brought me Mass Effect and KOTOR. But damn, the investment EA is making has got to be tremendous.

This game looks so disappointing. Who would have though that Bioware can't deliver. But I guess it doesn't really matter. Guild Wars 2 will be dominating the mmo market by the year 2012 anyway.

Looks like good fun. I'll probably pick it up and play with a few friends.  
 
I'm only interested in this because of the BioWare tag associated with it, however, if this came from the guys who made Rift I probably wouldn't give it a second glance.

The graphics and animation look terrible! KOTOR looks better...

Looks so bad... i feel so sad

1.) Guild Wars 2 is in no way competition for SW:TOR.  It might be better, but it isn't going for the same level of profits as subscriber-based MMOs.  SW:TOR is interesting in competing against other subscription-based MMOs, not free ones. They are after the WoW money.    
 
2.) SW:TOR doesn't need to beat WoW to be profitable.  Not by a long shot.  In interviews the developers have said they would be profitable at 1 million subscriptions sold and a success at 2 million.  That's all.  It doesn't need 11 million players, tons of Chinese spammers, and years of loyal fanbase.  It only needs 1 million subscribers to be profitable.

Ok so it has a story... but will the gameplay be any good, I actually wish it was a wow clone with star wars, there's no point being mad when someone says that a game is a clone of one of the best mmos of all time. "

I know it's super high quality, because I'm getting 40 novels for my $60.  I also know that it'll drag on fucking forever because it's fully voiced.  How can I possibly lose!?

Seriously, this game is probably the only MMO that has a chance of comparing to WoW. If the story is as good as they say / we hope it is and the combat is at least decent if not revolutionary [already got the cover system + more tactical LoS than WoW in my book] then it's gunna be LEGEN........... DARY! :P

The logic of these comments just makes no sense. This was a class trailer that barely  showed any gameplay. I believe that that is indeed not a good thing. But how on earth you deduce that the game is awful, disappointing, shit or any other negative OR positive opinion about the game it's self is beyond me.
 
And to think I considered Giantbomb's users a little more mature and logical of the other videogame communities...
