How to Interrogate and Investigate in L.A. Noire

Man, while the textures on the faces aren't great, the animation is stunning.

Looks intense. Love the setting (hopefully won't become the next ww2) and love the premise. Say what you want about rockstar, at least they know how games are supposed to be made.

We get closer and closer away from the uncanny valley. Its starting to creep me out.

Those faces just look so amazing.

I fucking love the dialogue in this game.

I can't stand how the faces look in this game, it looks like they're just plastered onto mediocre models with average animations tied to them. The detective work seems interesting for once though, but if I have to look at those damn face through the game to tell werether or not they are lying or telling the thruth I will not even check this out.
Also, every rockstar game seems to have the same guys programming the controls, they always wobble around slow and clunky, making the controls floaty and making it hard to even walk through a door without lining up your guy first, just because it's more "realistic" and "immersive" and it still gets praised by ciritics all over just because the story grabbed them or it was just fun to fuck around.
I know this is team Bondi, but what rockstar seems to be getting right everytime is story and a great dynamic world, maybe they should outsource some development on the control programming and shooting.

This is the most amazing graphics I've ever seen. Great game.

GDI, Rockstar has an amazing way of advertising their games that make me want to buy them.
 
RDR was the last game I pre-ordered and it looks like I might do the same for LA Noire.

I don't like rockstar's games but this is an exception! I want to play this one

Jeeze. The facial animations in this game still blow my mind.

I have a lot of dudes coming into the shop I work in saying "Can't wait for the new LA Noire game, its gonna be  like GTA". Just imagine that in a thick Dublin accent.  
 
 This is the same crowd who hated Red Dead Redemption cause they thought the horses were too hard to control and story was incomprehensible.

I can't say it enough.. Love the face animation! 
Very recognizable cast too.. kinda scary

This is looking good and I really want to play it.

That said I'm probably going to be the worst cop ever.

Edit:  Also I'm not sure that Rockstar should be getting as much praise as they are for this.  They only picked up Team Bondai a year ago or a bit more and that was after they had already settled on that tech and I'm sure most of the work of shaping how the game was going to play out and feel like had been done.

Is it just me or is the rockstar narrators' voice so suave that he convinces me games are awesome no matter what he's saying? 
 
This game looks great though and looks to be a welcome change in the rockstar formula

Something about the real person faces on the hand-animated body models creeps me out a little bit.
 
Still, seems like a  really cool game. I'd like to see more of it.

So wait, do they have like the entire cast of Mad Men in there somewhere? Where's Jon Hamm?
