awesome!

looks interesting...kind of odd how it's taken so long for consoles to adapt to the idea of "user generated" content.

still looks kinda fun.

Demon's are comin'.

Almost got first, but two people had commented in the time it took me to click the log in button.

What the hell? When have I played Hunted:The Demon's Forge?

Looks pretty interesting, can't think of any other games that let you customize arena combat in an action-RPG like this. The customization seems pretty deep without being too overwhelming. I'm interested to see how the game play actually feels though .

Wow, that seems like a really neat feature. Almost seems like a throwback to the days of gaming that offered a bit more freedom and creativity for the gamer's experience.

Split-Screen is always a welcomed face nowadays too.
I can see myself having a lot of fun with this.

This game wasn't even on my radar until now.

Setting up maps?  For what reason?  Is there an actual story in this game or is it just a bunch of tedious grinding on random dungeon hack maps full of dodgy A.I.?  The controls look too much like just another cover-based third-person shooter and I can't see a reason to play this other than empty loot lust.  If there's a good co-op component then it could be worth a rental but from what I've seen thus far this game is not for me.

Sounds intriguing

I can't decide whether this game looks really neat, or it looks like its clutching at straws to get attention.  I guess we'll find out when it's released.

lol everybody is gonna make maps where you can only use your weakest weapon the most enemies and no respawns or health potions xD (at least that's what I would do)

Pretty crap dungeon editor.

Hope the single player isn't just arena after arena.

00:43 - Jello Boob physics.  Classy.

GOLD: Buy a nice house, maybe a horse or three.

But in this world you get to spend your hard-earned dinars by building gauntlet style challenges that you might die doing. :)

I have a sinking suspicion that this is only slightly less deep than the tools used to make the main game. And that worries me, because it looks like the variation isn't enough to keep things truly interesting.

Edit: Also worrisome: currency earned in single player is spent on content creation. Is the game so short that this is a suitable reward?

Really cool, I love the fact that editors are still making it into modern games

Not feeling it, looks extremely limited.

Yeah man I have that same concern (about the tools used to make the game).  I mean this is a great idea for sure.  About the gold though, does that mean in order to do any crucible runs you HAVE to grind gold in the main game?  I guess only time will tell, they might have the ratio of gold earned to gold needed for arena creation dialed.  OR maybe the amount of gold you earn only unlocks new things for the crucible mode, rather than you actually spending your hard earned gold.  Either way, i'm certainly curious.  This could be a fun one for my brother and I to play over live.

I like it when developers put editor tools in their games.

That looks painfully limited...

I'm interested.  This seems like it could be an interesting distraction.

That really sounds like David Clayman of ex-IGN fame. I think he went to Bethesda.

Posted by ElbartoVienna

Mmmmm... Money...

Posted by lowestformofwit

Nah, all these "creations" will feel the same.  Still not feeling this game at all.

Posted by Tordah

Looks like it could have potential.

Posted by Ratcabbage

Is that Dave Clayman doing the narration?
Posted by Eribuster

Very neat. I didn't expect the game to have this for its instant action mode. It's more than I expected.

Posted by jorbear

I could get behind this.

Posted by MisterMouse

could be kind of cool.

This suddenly got me a lot more interested in this game! :)

This seems super limited, but then again I don't really have any hope for the main game either. Their first mistake was using the word "Dungeon Crawler" to describe a 3rd person action game.

Posted by Mumrik

This looks dreadful.

Posted by Spoonman671

This seems like a decent way to extend playability beyond the campaign without just adding a dumb deathmatch.

Also, is that David Clayman narrating the video?

Posted by doe3879

I though this was gona be about the new Demon's Souls :(
what's the name of that game again? i know it's not demon's souls 2

Dark Souls.

I don't know if it''s the way it implemented, or it's just the narrator, but that seems super boring.

Posted by Koolaids_Back

The whole "make your own dungeon crawler" thing sounds meh to me. So I could have a dungeon of 5 "arenas" where you fight 2 rounds of 100 waves... It just seems pointless to me.

It's cool to edit all that stuff but I don't get the one room after the other aspect.
I think it would work just as well if you were making single "room" instances.
Making a zig-zag maze seems to serve no purpose

It reminds me of the upcoming Dungeon Siege 3. I sure
as shit hope they're not releasing them at the same time.
Too much overlap.

This game gives me a hard on.

Posted by JohnPaulVann
@Mumrik: keep your negativity to yourself, please. some of us here are grooving on the footage and don't need any bad vibes mucking things up.
Posted by Mumrik
@JohnPaulVann:  What an odd thing to write. Surely my "This looks dreadful" is every bit as worthy a post as your "This game gives me a hard on".

Anyway, hopefully Dungeon Siege 3 will be good - I didn't care for the first one but loved the second one, and Hunted doesn't look like it'll do anything for me.

Miss that Davey Clay giggle.

Splitscreen looks horrible but at least it exists. Other than that I think this shows a lot of gameplay elements that really enhance the game for the better.

Funny how jaded so many giantbombers sound.. Why on earth do you guys bother with games if you hate on everything that comes out... Seems daft.

:O

This looks like it could be fun. But I'll hold off until a Steam sale.

Looks fun to me with two people.
