Also, shit looks really bland.

This didn't teach me how to take down a mech at all! At any rate this does look cooler than the last BlackLight mainly because skull logos add coolness points.

Gotta hand it to Zombie Studios and others alike though. They're releasing a F2P game in probably one of the biggest gaming genre markets. If it includes micro-transactions, 90%+ of players won't even bother to pay a penny, but those that do will fund them enough, hopefully, to design another game. Hell, if this was my first game (though it's not ZS's) I'd be over the moon right now.

I just hope it's released before the big boys are, MW3 and BF3 will snap up the majority of FPS players.

I played this yesterday @ PAX. And was pleased to find it it is not terrible. I actually enjoyed it. The mech controls were slow and are really limit your mobility but it makes sense since it balances it out due to the strength of its weapon systems.

The customization and amount of weapons is also really good. Tons of options that allow you to change everything from the standard optics and barrel options to the receiver and ammo type.

Plus its F2P, which usually means (for me) that its going to be sub-par, which makes the whole game seem better. Had more fun with this than Tribes Ascend but that one wasn't bad either.

There disagreement on who has the cooler helmets really got out of hand.
