God damn these awesome-looking games. I need to gear up :(

After listening to this week's bombcast and watching this interview, I'm definitely interested to see more of this game.

omg omg omg

Im calling it right now. Part 2 of the game will involve Alien technology and/or environments.
Posted by Arne

Does anyone know if this will have an extremly open world, much like fallout 3? or if it will be a bit more contained?

Posted by Vorbis

So the game turns darker in the second half, bets on alien invasions, natural disaster or big explosions.

Interested aslong as it has enough side quests, open world games need to last longer than 10hours.

It's sounding pretty fun. Hope it'll be good!

Posted by Meltbrain

The game looks amazing, for sure.

I'm stoked.

From what they´ve said it will be much more contained than Fallout. Its still a shooter, not an open world RPG.

This game looks insane, I wonder how it will fair graphically on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 to the PC.

id I love you but after Doom 3 you'll need more then words to regain my trust.

I wish Brad had asked about monster closets.

I really hope they don't pull a Crisis... tech demos are great and all but I hope they make an actual game out of this.

I hope the second half takes place in Hell. And you're a Strogg.

Posted by JJOR64

Looks awesome.  Might have to pick it up when it comes out.

Again with Brad and his awesome interviewing skills.  Kudos man, Kudos

id games know for visual flare....pl?

Posted by Rasgueado

It's really cute hearing a Texan say, "Ve-Hicle". =)

Who's operating the camera Brad?
Posted by ZmillA

Man I could listen to any of the ID guys talk about shit, and enjoy it.

They just seem to understand what its all about and they respect their craft.

Quality interview with the right questions, thanks for that.

God, I wish they made this available to play as 3rd person.
Other than that,  game looks great, I hope the story holds up with the action.

Great interview.

Edited by Milkman

How hilarious would be if the second half of the game just took place in Hell?

Also, Tweeter.

Posted by SuperMuchBrown

I wish I could get a tweeter page.  ;)   Game looks rad, hope it lives up.

Great video & interview Brad, after being at Quakecon I might have seen some of what you got at Quakecon but it's always fascinating to hear more from the great people at Id.

UGH!

Brad pulls out some more great interviews.  Good job.

Posted by chilipeppersman

this is gonna kick ass, guaranteed

Posted by Kratch

My favorite thing about Brad's interviews is how polite he is.  I want to send him a construction paper gold star to pin on his shirt that says "Most Polite."

Thank you very much, sir.

its weird but it looks to me like the visual style of the game looks a lot like borderlands after they changed their visuals is it just me or do other people think the same?

Posted by TreeHouse

i love the handcrafted feel that he was talking about. I always thought proceduraly generated stuff took the character out of environments.

Posted by SunKing

I thought the screenshots looked kind of okay but nothing special. Having seen the game in motion I've got to say that it looks great and a lot of fun. I really hope they can transfer that level of graphical fidelity to the Xbox 360.

Posted by phrosnite

Haven't you noticed the mistake in the Rage description below the video? Just saying...

Posted by TheHBK

One of the best interviews I have seen.  Still it just shows me how unoriginal this game seems by today.  The megatexture tech is the only thing that entices me.  I dont know what the 2nd half of the game will be but right now, it just feels all too familiar.

Posted by atomic_dumpling
Colors! Seriously, this alone makes me like this game a little more.
Posted by Bummey

I was waiting for the "Come on, this is Fallout 4, isn't it?" question.

Posted by Luberik

the game could use more colour LOL, it's kinda brownish now. But I like it, in motion, it looks really fun to play. Just as it should be.

Posted by Kohe321

Great interview!

Posted by Nogert

Have the released any specifications for this? Looks good but I'm hoping it's not as demanding as Crysis because that game just took the piss.
