Looks cool. I'll wait for it to be done though.

It certainly looks neat.

I'm going to wait for this to be done as well. I'm also done with early access as a concept because I move on from the game and when the full version is released, I don't really want to go back. I'm sorry Mercenary Kings...

Klei makes some damn good games. damn good.

I'll jump in on this when it's complete for sure.

Looks cool, but I will probably wait until it is released.

Got Don't Starve early and while that is a cool game, I got sick of it before lots of features were even added. Learned my lesson.

I adore the art style of this, but since it seems like a more scripted experience than Don't Starve, I think I'll save myself for the finished version. Maybe when it's on sale.

I respect Klei but I don't want to fall into the pay for a unfinished game craze.

Holy crap this game pushes so many of my buttons, mechanically and aesthetically.

YES! Been waiting for this. Watched some videos of them showing it off on twitch as they've been making it, and it looks pretty amazing.

Posted by GeneralZod37

@djjoejoe: Well, when that limited time offer is gone it will be $19.99. There is a chance people will see this video after it is, and before it is fully released.

Great music. Good looking game. Early access; noOope!

Stealth and turn based tactics seem like a weird combination ( I guess there's Commandos). But after Mark of the Ninja I think that Klei could pull it off. Gonna give it a try when it's finished.

Klei is a pretty interesting studio, making all these wildly different games.

It's like if Monaco and XCOM had a baby.

If anyone bought it and has feedback, please let us know if it's worth it. I'm interested too.

I hear you. I dumped a lot of hours into Warframe around v.0.7 and I'm burnt out and unlikely to go back.

This looks fantastic! Super tempted to jump in and play it but I worry the early access will make me less excited to play the finished product, which has been the case for most early access games I've played.

Edited by PiltdownMan

Is it just me or does the interface look a lot like the new Shadowrun?

Posted by amlabella

Whoa, didn't even know about this game but it looks good. I don't usually play early access games but I might not be able to fight the urge with this one. Seems like Klei has really branched out in the past few years, very cool.

Posted by MeatSim

I think I will wait until it's actually finished.

Posted by HerbieBug

I don't do early access unless it's a free beta. Looking forward to this when feature complete! :)

Posted by radioactivez0r

I love that this genre is getting love, and god damn this game looks all kinds of stylish. I've never been an early access guy but I'm not sure I can resist.

Said it last year before this was announced, one of the best developers in the business. Fan since their first game and they keep dropping quality titles. They dont need to do early access, should just wait til game is done.

Posted by eccentrix

Looks like they really did it.

I'm still waiting for Don't Starve to be done.

I was lucky enough to be able to stop by the Klei booth at PAX Prime a couple weekends ago; they were selling Steam activation codes for the alpha (and subsequent versions of the game) for $17, and they threw in another code for free, so it ended up being 2 for $17. My friend @clint and I ended up splitting the cost so we could both get one. It was a pretty awesome deal, and I've been waiting for the alpha to go live since then. Really interested in seeing how this shapes up and getting to play its various forms throughout development.

EDIT: It seems that the 2-for-$17 deal is how it's going on on the Humble Store, at least, like @djjoejoe said, which is pretty awesome.

This looks like what Metal Gear Ac!d should've been. Even if I wanted to I don't think I could avoid paying for an alpha that looks this interesting. Don't Starve absolutely paid off for me!

Couldn't agree more.

I've been waiting on Mercenary Kings for that very reason.

Am I missing something? Bought the game, but I can't see the early access anywhere...

Posted by Accolade

Shut up and take my full release money.

Posted by Korolev

Looks really good, but I'm not a fan of "early access" - I don't want to play some unpolished version of the game - because then when the final version is released, it won't be as interesting or unique to me - since I would have played versions of it before.

Posted by enemymouse

Love everything about this and, since I have no self control, will probably buy the early access and wear it out before its complete. Damn good trailer.

Posted by avantegardener

*Turn based erection* Loving all of this, from the art style to the play style.

Edited by KikkomanSA

The idea of seeing features getting added/changed completely every week or so in Don't Starve is cool, but I only loaded it up a few times before quitting on it for the time being.

I'm only gonna touch Don't Starve again when they announce that it's complete, and I'll only buy this one when they say it's complete!

Edited by squidraid

Yeah, I admire Klei's effort at post release support with Don't Starve, but the constant updates just don't do enough to the fundamental experience to make it worth coming back over and over. Guess it must have its share of hardcore fans or they wouldn't keep doing it, though!

Posted by peritus

Havent seen it on steam yet, looks interesting.
