InFamous 2 Gameplay Boogaloo

While the gameplay looks great, I still can't get used to the new Cole. There should be a rule against, you know, redesigning a character from the ground up and making him look nothing like the original. I hope Sucker Punch reverts back to the old design.

Okay, The Universe! I'll get a PS3!

Wow.  This looks to be almost a big a leap in quality as from Uncharted 1 to 2.  Don't get me wrong, Uncharted 1 and Infamous 1 were both great games, but this just looks amazing.

inFAMOUS was one of the best fun rides I had in the past few years. This looks even better.

It's almost as if Infamous is doing an inverse Prince of Persia Trilogy character arc.

whaaaaaaat!?!?! that looked amazing! but was it all really ingame? the animation when he gets hit by the chopper missiles and gets up looks strange.
 
in any case looks like even more fun than infamous 1. but new cole looks and sounds pretty young, which sin't necessarily good or bad but it's certainly weird to see.

Find it hard to believe that this footage was recorded from the game running on a PS3.

Fuck yes.

Gameplay looks sweet... but am i the only one bummed out by the new voice acting of cole... The original voice wasn't the greatest, sounded a bit to much like solid snake, but stil.  
  
Plus the new Cole looks like something out of a cheap japaneese game.... 
 
Still gonna buy it though.

But yeah, it looks great. The movement seems much quicker and smoother than the first one.

The animation looks SO much cleaner in this game than in inFamous 2, and the scripted stuff looks great. inFamous 2 just went to the top of my list for "Most Anticipated in 2011"

Looks great, but like everyone else - the "new Cole" is just so different, he really isn't Cole at all. Here's hoping this is somehow remedied, but I sincerely doubt they will because it could potentially be an unfortunate (and largely unnecessary) blemish on what could be a great game. True that ultimately it wouldn't matter, however it will be something that people are left with after playing the game that just doesn't need to be there as a "problem".

Melee combat will add much needed variety to the gameplay. If it was all still 'i'ma stand here and pew pew my lightning' it would be boring as fuck.

It looked pretty sweet (and I'm officially finally getting a PS3 tomorrow!!!!) but dude, that voice actor is really annoying (Cole's) is it the same dude as the first game?

That looks fun! Being able to blast across ledges and up pipes looks like it will really add to the fluidity of the traversal. I'm getting almost an Uncharted 2 vibe in terms of improving over its predecessor, too early to tell but I have a very good feeling about this game.

Oh man.. What did they do to his voice? You can't just totally change a guy around like that, seriously. I thought the first Cole was poo-man extreme, but this is much worse

WoW!  I didn't care about this game at all.  The first was decent.  But I wasn't expecting much from this one.  But damn, that just about sold me.
