InFamous 2's Graphic Novel Cinematics Are Back

Cool story - cheap and effective. It's better for Sucker Punch than to go the XIII route and spend million buck on cutscenes.

They look great but I was hoping for all in-game cutscenes this time with improved animation

I love this game

The voice is better than their original "new" Cole.

Man, new new Cole sounds like he's about 50 years old.

Footage is kind of old but excited for the game, loved the first one.

I'm just playing the first Infamous now. It's awesome. It's the game I wished I was playing when I was playing Crackdown. Thumbs up for the sequel.

Sign me up.

I like new old Cole's T-shirt better than old new Cole's.

These were one of my favorite parts of the first game.

I loved the look of the cutscenes in the original, glad they are coming back.
Also, I don't really care all too much about how Cole looks.

Awesome. Really glad to see they're keeping this style of cutscene in the game. That's a big part of what defined the original Infamous to me.
 
Also, I really like the new-old Cole voice. I'm glad Suckerpunch responded to the fan reaction to the redesign of the character.

I wonder how pissed off the artist was when they were going through all those Cole redesigns.

The new voice actor sounds good. At least he tried to match the original Cole. The look is good too, back to Cole classic.  Can't get enough of the comic-style cutscenes. Can't wait!

This type of production for a game makes me feel like it's cheaply made, and I have a total lack of interest in it because of it.  Games can be fun, but I play most games for their story, and when it's so cheaply presented as it was in the first Infamous, I didn't care about what was happening.  
 
I don't read comics, and these graphic/visual comics are not any more appealing to me than a real comic book. I don't own a HDTV to look at high res comic books on my screen. 

I loved the comic style cinematics so I welcome them back. Can't wait for this game.

I still think they should have went with their original intentions and just let the internet be it's reactionary self, but that doesn't matter in the long run.  I'm sure they are making a good game.

oh yeah Infamous 2, can't wait.  I'm glad he actually looks like Cole now.

I hope the new game has a few different locations besides bombed out city and sewers.

Sweeeeet! I loved that art style and I'm happy to see Cole has rid himself of his genero-tribal ink. It's ok for a character to change their look, but that was a little too much. If they'd been tattoos that actually reflect his character, that would've been one thing but "tribal" just looked like he turned 18 and couldn't think of a real design.

1. i liked the original voice actor (aka the first one not the "new" cole one) and 
2. Cole once again you fuck up another city

So new Cole looked better, but looked nothing like the old Cole, thus cheapening the overall story-arc going from inFamous 1 to 2.  Problem is that the inFamous storyline so far is inbetween mediocre to average, so many they should have stuck with the new Cole and say, "fuck it, the game's cool because you have crazy super powers in an open world game." 
 
tl;dr - Gamers can never be happy.

Can't wait. Infamous was one of my favorite games in the last couple years and one of the only games I have ever beat and then immediately begun a new save file on.

God I can't wait to play this. 
 
Sure infamous had flaws, but it was a damn fine game.  And I really enjoyed it.

hopefully the ramp up the graphics a tad... first game looked a bit rough but it was still great. def looking forward to picking this up!

I really like this new new new Cole, whichever new Cole it actually is, the voice is great! And he looks, pretty much just like Cole did in the first game, which is fine by me. Can they just keep him the same now? :D

As some have stated before me, new voice with old Cole design sucks. I loved the first, but I just can't get hyped for this.

The first game had great writing when it came to Cole's narrating, and this sounds about on the same level. I can't wait!

I don't know why people are complaining. As far as I know "new" Cole looks and sounds just like old Cole minus the messenger bag and jacket. Maybe it's cause I haven't played Infamous 1 in months, but I really can't tell the difference. I never did like Cole's overly raspy voice in Infamous 1 since the Snake voice was played out by the time it was released. I like that they toned it down.
 
And just to mention, I'm glad they kept Cole buzzed/bald. If he had hair it should be constantly standing up.

I'm on the very last level of the first game, and I don't feel like finishing it. 
 
I guess I should just for the sake of finishing. I'm mixed on this game...
