Infinite Space - In the Midst of Battle

Looks like JRPGs are relegating themselves off to handhelds.  The game play must suck since it didn't show any. Oh well.

Being a DS game, the voice acting is probably minimal, thankfully.

I have played this game, and it is not really that good. The battle stuff is low on strategy, and the animations get really repetitive. The graphics look good, but that's for a DS game. The story is standard kind of anime/RPG fare, and there is no real exploration to be had. You spend most of your time playing cycling through menus to take you to different places, or cycling through menus in battle. This game will definitely not appeal to everyone. That's fine, but I just think the developers should have been a little bit more clear about the fact that it might be an acquired taste. For a lot of people this game is going to be painfully boring.

Voice acting sounds unexciting and bland. Need to see some ingame footage.

These trailers severely lack punch and oomph. They seem strangely muffled and understated.

Have people not yet realised that keyboard instruments do not make good weapon control systems?

Kudo's to the DS if it can actually pull off fmv that fluently (then againh, it works for Chronotrigger). However, as voiced before I would've liked to actually see something from the gameplay.

Rhythm game with the piano.  Then you make the gray ships shoot the blue ships, so its a Civil War art piece.  And there are swords.  Plus it is mad Japanese looking.  Simple game really

Again, it looks like its a bunch of cutscenes from one section of the game. hopefully people don't get too confused thinking this stuff happens right after one another.

Though honestly watching these videos doesn't make the game look as good as its sounds. i want some gameplay!
