I'm watching but I'm still not seeing any dogs. What gives?

This game is either going to be really good, or an utter failure.

I really don't want to buy this, but I doubt I'll be able to control myself.

OK, OK, I'm excited again.

Looks like a lot of DLC is going to be these "in-game apps", but to be fair, they seem to be including quite a few significant ones. I have to say, digital coins and ghosts in lines throughout a sprawling open-world game is kind of appealing. AND there's user-generated content.

Incredible, indeed. I don't even want to know what the marketing budget was behind this game, but I sure as hell will be laughing if this game doesn't live up to the expectations that it is even remotely trying to advertise.

The frame rate is looking a tad rough. It looked the worst during the multiplayer though.

@pokalapoketl: Sigh... I was expecting full 1080p with 60fps for all these stupid delays. I'm really peeved about the developers not really utilizing the power behind these new consoles. Really kicking myself for buying a PS4 early now, since all the games are released on previous gen and look the same anyways. When the best looking games are ports from previous gen like Battlefield 4, there's something wrong.

What the fuck is 792p or 900p? Why don't they just write out the resolution instead of weird number with a p at the end. I hope the PC version is somewhat optimized. Assassin's Creed 4 was kinda rough on PC.

Hmm, i get the sense that this wont live up to expectations, it just seems so ordinary, the hacking stuff seems over simple, i was hoping for something more like Gunpoint

I think if this game were set 50 years further in the future than my interest would be doubled.

It's pretty disappointing to see the map of Chicago is only included with one version of the game.

tbh I think it could be like Assassin's Creed was for them last gen where the first game is largely average/a disappointment but shows promise and the sequels build on it become good games.

I think the "stunning mediocrity" he's trying to convey is best said in this tweet - in that not only is the perceived mediocrity in question, well... mediocre - but it is incredibly absurd in the length it establishes to be that in itself.

Obviously, your mileage will vary in terms of interest in this game, so whether you think that or not is completely valid as well.

I hope this game is fantastic I don't think I could handle it being bad, I think it is going to be alot of fun and I am all for the Saints Row style bullshit on the sides.

I no longer care about this game at all. If it comes out and turns out to be awesome I'll probably play it, otherwise I'm not even motivated enough to watch this trailer.

I kinda like that all the silly open world collectables and footrace-style events are contextualized as ARGs and phone apps. Instead of collect random collectable because YOUR playing a video game, its collect random collectable because your character is playing a video game.

Looks good. Still not quite what we originally saw, but at least I'm slightly more interested again.

But that framerate...

I thought it was the video player at first but I downloaded it and nope...super choppy at times. As a matter of fact, the little visual effect they overlayed on parts of the video where it blacks in and out seems to be there to cover up hitches.

Hopefully the PC version runs ok at release.

This game still looks pretty beautiful visually. Not as good as when they first showed it, but still pretty damn nice. I hope the game play and most importantly the story, hold up.

I will never understand "in-game games". Who sits and plays a poor chess simulator inside another game that you wouldn't touch with a bargepole on it's own?

Gibson's Bridge trilogy called, it doesn't appreciate being neutered and appropriated for Ubisoft's distinct brand of generic.
