As a JoJo fan, I loved the way this trailer was made. If I wasn't a fan, I would've gotten some of the info, and it would have made me look more of the series up.

Story mode is pretty barebones. Text screen, Fight, fight, fight, text screen. The fights have some secret missions to them (usually references to actual events from the series, like using certain attacks), which is alright, and you need to do story mode to unlock characters. Don't expect CC2 to have done it like in the Naruto games.

@xel: There is a the current anime run going on. 2012 saw part 1 and 2 now just airing is Stardust crusaders. So your kinda expected to be following the new stuff.

@coke: You can't do that awesome sixties-looking filter at the beginning of the video in a manga. Or guitars.

Not sure how I feel about them spoiling a manga series from the 80's, but it's good to see JJBA get some much needed love. Now the long wait for the anime to catch up...

The anime is on the beginning of part 3 while the manga is ongoing on part 8. Read the manga.

lol, the manga does mention a few times that all three of them are 195 cm (almost 6'5"). Josuke, Jolyne and Giorno didn't get those genetics. Super tall Jolyne and Giorno would just look weird.

Crunchyroll has the first season up subbed, and the second season has new eps every friday.

I can't get over just how gigantic Jonathan, Joseph and Jotaro are compared to the rest of them. They're gigantic.

nothing wrong with collecting :), and yea that sounds about right for what this game is, asura's wrath and the naruto games were the same way, very stylish, but not extremely technical.

Yeah I grabbed a copy off of Amazon, being a crazy game collector. Plus, I enjoyed the original game for its weirdness, so I figured why not. It also sounds like its a fun but not extremely technical fighting game (which is a plus for me - I like the genre, but don't have a ton of time to get super amazing at said games).

It's the power that comes from breathing in a certain way.

Fanservice in this game is top notch, but I hope for the sequel they get the fighting down better. JoJo deserves a great fighting game.

EDIT: Also, the OST for this game is really good.

I love how ridiculous and over the top Jo-Jo can be, but my favorite thing about it has to be the Space Jam covers

Yeah I imported the JP version and have had it since launch. I still play it (in fact I just took it out to play some Dark Souls 2), and it's one of the few PS3 games I've platinum'd. They've done a lot to fix some of the really glaring issues, but it's far from perfect, but for a JoJo fan I think the attention to detail and fun little things to notice is great. Just don't expect Street Fighter 4 or something.

Doing Johnny's GHA against President Valentine is hype as fuck.

I downloaded this off of the Hong Kong PSN store when it first came out in Japan. I then continued to buy all the DLC, and have now bought the US version as well.

It's not the most technical fighting game out there, but I still think it's super fun.

I forgot how silly crazy Part 1 was. Wow...

The demo was... kind of what I expected. Pretty, but otherwise not particularly interesting. And I say that as someone who's read parts 1-5 of Jojo.
Characters seem to have a pitifully small amount of moves though. At least based on tried and true dragonpunch esque moves and the move list itself.
