I hope this is actually good, but I get the feeling that these trailers are going to be the best thing about this game..

Last game was crap, honestly. Looks good, but trailers aren't enough to carry a game.

Well you can hear his (presumably) wife calling him from the other room, and when the first game starts, Lynch's wife is already dead... so unless it's a flashback or Lynch is reeeeeally good at covering up his past relationships, or it's a prequel.  I'm pretty interested to hear more. :O "

Jeff you got to review this game for old times not like you can get fired from giantbomb for doing it since you  are the crater of giant bomb.

Kane and Lynch 1 wasn't the best game granted, but it was rushed by Eidos from all accounts.  I don't get the negative reception really given IO's great track record.  They make great games and this one looks to have IO's signature style, but in an interesting new direction.  The first one was promising and I bet they get it right with the sequel.

That was a pretty bad ass trailer.

I'm calling it. 6 out of 10 stars.

WRONG. I think everyone's going to be surprised when Jeff DOES review it, but plays it straight the whole time at though it's any other game. "

Jeff should fire himself for a day after he reviews this. That would make for a great video feature.

i cant wait. i loved the first game and i really hope they capture the "documentary" style camera work that have been in all the trailers and is said to be in the actual game play.

Dude,  I still can't wrap my head around the fact that they're making a sequel to this PoS, espcially after the alleged Gamespot fiasco with it.

Again they should be making another Freedom Fighters not this.

That was one of THE best trailers I have ever seen! It's up there with the Army of Two: 40th Day trailers.

I saw this a long time ago when it was called, "Heat" Except Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro and Val Kilmer all did a better job than what I am seeing in this clip. Also, to be really super critical: If my lady is laying in bed after I have given her my man business a few times, she doesn't call me by my last name.

I actually really liked this trailer....loved the cutting from the action and Lynch doing seemingly nothing, very subtle.

Ok stay with me on this one...
 
Game companies know hits and misses when producing games. We know that before the release of K&L Eidos felt that game wouldn't be a great money maker.  However, given the press they received I have to believe they pocketed a tidy sum, particularly based off of that they had already invested and projected to make.
 
This second game might be an attempt to actually turn K&L into a decent game.  The video seemed pretty good to me actually.  I'm curious if Eidos threw some more money at the development team to produce something good to ride out that press roller coaster they started with the first.

Impressive trailer, but I'm not getting my hopes up without gameplay footage. And I'd rather see a new Hitman.

I hope Jeff reviews this game.

Everyone who is posting "Hurr Durr I hope Jeff reviews this game" should just shut up. If this turns out to be a bad game then it will be bad no matter who will review it and if it is good then it is good. I'm sure Jeff has moved past the whole Gamespot fiasco and the fact that some of you are still desperately clinging to it is pretty pathetic. This site is about fun and gaming and honest, objective reviews not some cheap drama. 
  
Personally I really like the trailers that have come out recently. They are pretty intense and stylistically cool looking. If the game ends up being something like this then there is a good chance that it will at least be mediocre.

This is one of the best trailers I've ever seen! Tells you something about the plot and setting without giving away too much or too little. I'm excited to see how the actual game turns out.

I love the mood they achieved in this.  That's one of the hardest things to achieve... I hope it carries over to the game... Let's hope they get this one right.
