This is hyper-silly.  If you had some creature that was weak against silliness, this would be super fucking effective.
 
Salvatore means that it's going to be a really dreadful Mary Sue story where one invincible, omniscient character is right 100% of the time, along with the worst trappings of high fantasy.  Macfarlane means that all those high fantasy trappings are going to be given a ridiculous dark gothic overtone.  And the lead designer of Oblivion means that this game will be janky as all fuck.
 
I really wish they would've listed Curt Schilling in those name drops.  "From fantasy writer R.A. Salvatore.... Spawn creator Todd Macfarlane.... World Series MVP Curt Schilling..."

Maybe it's because I just saw the SC2 trailer and because they so blatantly ripped off LOTR with the female voice over.

Aww Shit Son. Okay, this looks great... But it dies by the whole MMO idea, I HATE MMO's! It  just means that this game will look like shit and expect you to pay for it.

Teeheehee I called it. All this talk about how awesome the game would be and so far it just looks like any old fantasy game. I hope the gameplay looks amazing, because that CGI trailer didn't do anything for me and I have seen five year old cinematic more interesting and better looking then that.
 
EDIT: Good to see male Shepard still getting work in the industry. He's like the Nolan North for generic male actor hero character models in video games.

That's quite the team they have working on it. The trailer was pretty sweet too.
