They've definitely peaked my interest, especially, with how they've approached encounters with other survivors.

I think it looks pretty cool. Especially for a downloadable game. Hoping it turns out well.

Hope this carries through with their ambition. I'm a bit leery when the kitchen sink is promised but it looks like they've set their own bar quite high.

This looks awesome BUT I hope it isn't linear. I want a fallout 3 style walk around and find a camp of survivors/bandits kind of thing, please let it not be a linear story... that would be hella boring and disappointing.

Combat looks like it might be shit, least the up close and personal side. Everything else looks pretty interesting. Enough to over look a lot of faults. which im getting the impression this game has. Seems like it could be one of those underrated gems that wont be a huge hit, but will really get a hold of the people who like the game.

Hahaha, that's exactly what I thought when I saw that.

I wonder if there can be an action/adventure/survival game with a truly realistic protagonist that is still fun.

@Ashwyn:I saw red pipes.Plus they mentioned different contrasts in different areas.So maybe just the really dusty places are really grey?Who's to say...

This sounds pretty good on paper, but I'm skeptical about their ability to make the game work as intended. Unfortunately, ME3 and SFXT come out the day before this does, so I guess I'll just leave this alone for now and maybe check it out later. Maybe we'll get a Quick Look?

@Hulkamaniac: I always just use a random date, though I see that giantbomb saves my settings so it's actually always set to my real birthday now.

Every time i have seen a developer diary talking about "cool" shit in there game a good percentage of the time that game has gone on to be a financial and critical failure.Yeah there needs to be more original games out there but the combat looks like poop and the exploration is a poor mans uncharted.

The way they keep pushing the "emotional" idea makes me a bit doubtful.

Conceptually it sounds really cool. But I can't help thinking it'll suck based on the stiff platforming and combat, and the troubled dev cycle

incredibly excited for this game even if it is a budget game. Hope it keeps up its' promises.

If they could make environment navigation more interesting than 'follow the bright red piping' I'd have a little more faith in this...

Hmmm, I was pretty lukewarm on this at first but I have to say it does look intriguing.

I had almost forgotten about this game. I'm really looking forward to it. It looks intresting.

The interactions with other survivors has made me interested in this game.

Really unfortunate that it's digital only AND console only. Pretty much gaurantees that I won't buy it. Any reason why they aren't doing a box release for this one? Is it a sign that Ubisoft doesn't feel like the game is any good?
