Whoa, you could fire off Nitros backwards? Didn't know that when I played the beta.

I never found using the reverse nitro as an airbrake to be all that useful. I suppose it might be handy if there's no way you could use the proper racing line around a hairpin, but I never ran into that issue. Guess I'll have to try it on more hairpins.
 
Firing mines ahead was really useful, though. People never saw that coming in the beta.

Hmmm it's getting harder to choose between this and Split/Second...

Whichever does best, both blur and Split/Second will be great in unique ways.

From the demos i prefer Blur as i feel that Split/second didnt do too well on the drifting and i didnt like the way the power-plays worked as i could never hit anyone.

Can't wait for Blur.

The thing that is useful for that corner is a shield and slam into the wall sideways. You don't get damaged and you lose less speed.

I've been playing the online demo a lot. Really can't wait for this game to drop. Even though it's published by Activison I'm still gonna buy it. Much better than Split/Second imo.

Looks fun but might be a little to over complicated for my racing taste.

Neat on the powerup options, still thinking that I'll get to Split Second first with all the eviro chaos that comes with it. Both are on gamefly so it's really up to them :P.

I think Blur is the winner over Split/Second only because I think Blur has longer lasting replay ability.  Just look at Mario Kart.

I didn't even know the "power ups" and "weapons" were this abstract looking. It's interesting though.

Yeah I'm looking forward to this. Having tried the Beta of this and the Split/Second demo the sense of speed in Blur is far greater than S/S.

I knew about the reverse nitro, but thought it was some sort of slow-down before a MEGA boos rather than an Emergency (almost) stop! Very handy for online when I get it!

Think in 3 dimensions? so the game is in 3D then inside your mind.
