OKAY. THIS GAME IS ACTUALLY FROG FRACTIONS 2.

That would explain so much.

Everything I've heard about Danganronpa 2 is that it's superior to the original in just about every way, so if you at all enjoyed the first one you'll for sure enjoy the second one. I've still yet to beat the first one because I have to take a few days to a week break between play sessions because EVERYBODY I LIKE KEEPS FUCKING DYING GODDAMN IT. I just need to get to the New Game +, so I can save everybody.

Edit: Oh wow that dub is atrocious. I mean most dubs are, but damn that's really, really bad.

Monobear's voice is so terrible.

I guess I should check out the first - VLR got me into these types of games.

Only complaint is Johnny Yong Bosch as the lead. Dude sounds the exact same in his trillions of roles.

Also, @patrickklepek I've heard that this one has a little more pointless fanservice than the first, just to warn you. But I've also heard that the way the story ramps up and ties into the first game is brilliant, so look forward to that.

Is it just me or do all the kids looks like the same ones from the first game with different outfits?

I really have to echo the sentiment that Monokuma's English voice is annoying as hell, the others seem fine.

He was probably my favourite voice in the Japanese voice track.

Nope, I just browse "anime gifs" on Tumblr at random. You know, to get a feel for it.

Hope it gets a bit crazier than the first did. I really enjoyed it but it never quite shifted up to the crazy-gear that I was expecting right up to the end. (I fear this might just be a side effect of 999 being my first game of this type.)

Idk how people can play games like this, i really tried with Virtue's Last Reward too, but man, constant bullshit dialogue and pressing X, could not do that shit.

@patrickklepek: Hey Patrick, I already played the second one and if you want more difficult and confusing murder scenarios OH BOY HERE YOU GO. This game is worlds better than the first IMO, and these cases are some CRAZY SHIT at points. And the cast this time is way less generic, lots of twist and developments with this group. You'll have a good time as long as the English voices aren't too terrible.

You won't be disappointed, this is really a better game.

After playing the first one I just don't think this series is for me, though I am super glad that more crazy shit is coming out even if I don't want to play it.

Based upon that trailer, I'm not really seeing how the gameplay is that much different. I have some serious doubts that the protagonist being able to shout "I consent!" is much of a game change.
