I want this game but soo much is coming out in Feb that it will have to wait. EA games usually go on sale or drop in price fast anyway so I'll probably snag it later.

Yeah, MK9 missed out bigtime on that one. It's the perfect stupid (good) game for dubstep, but they went with a boring low energy soundtrack.

I'd rather just play the original Syndicate, now that it's available on GoG.

With all this co-op coverage, I wouldn't be surprised if someone bought this game without knowing there's a single-player component.

Yeah. The dude is all over the place inside and outside the industry. He also did the track from the Uncharted 3 trailer.

The best parts of his Syndicate theme is the samples from the iconic original theme...

I don't really have a clear opinion on dubstep as actual music, but it just seemed like such a missed opportunity in the context of MK.

I think this game seems more and more promising, and i feel the dubstep fits in with the aesthetic really well. Will be picking this up on the day of release!

The aiming felt kinda weird in the demo. It kinda has that weird not quite smooth feel to it when you actually have a physical body. ADS actually felt quicker for me than regular hip fire. Doods seem to soak up a lot of bullets. I liked the direction but the controls just didn't feel very crisp in the aiming department - everything else was fine.

That's because you have to upgrade your character with multiple plays - one of the upgrades in the tree stops the waving around inertia, and another stops the bullet scatter... once you have both, things feel much more normal... in fact it feels near identical to Battlefield

So, they made a game that looks and plays nothing like Syndicate, and they just sort of hand-waive how entirely different it is by claiming everything was designed following the 'legacy' of Syndicate? Yeah maybe the game will be tolerable but I'm not really understanding why you want to reboot a 19 year old game and then completely ignore all of the game parts of the game.

In all fairness, the original game wasn't particularly complex, and you need to introduce new mechanics like First-Person Shooting into the game to appeal to new players, but shooting guys to build adrenaline to power your "apps?" Magical hacker-spells? Detective vision? Yeah, you know, all classic Syndicate features, I guess. The ones that maybe they wrote out of the original game before it shipped.

Syndicate looks pretty cool though. If they paid as much attention to the gameplay as they did to the cool visual flourishes and the dubstepping, it could be a lot of fun

it wasnt explored on the quick look (hince the name) but on 8-4 play (mark mcdonald) said the most impressive thing is the multiplayer.

WOBBLE BAAASS!!!! Also, I cannot WAIT for this game.

Played the demo with two buddies earlier, seemed shitty. The interface was super cluttered and nothing really made a ton of sense. Character design is also pretty awful.

Needs more dubstep.

played a bit of the xbox demo, i really like the look of the game. The gameplay is not bad but some of the guns have insane amounts of recoil. But i played a heal bot mostly, your teammates can go down pretty fast.

it was in the mortal kombat trailer from what i remember... i'ts where i first heard of skrillex.

That music reminded me of The Chemical Brothers.

Looks kinda like futuristic Brothers in Arms with the squad commands and such.

I give my thumbs up to the demo. Went through it on the PS3 but all along I couldn't help but think.. "I wish I was playing it on the PC".
 
The aiming felt kinda off but I figure it's not the final code, you never know. The interface and HUD is amazing and fits the setting. This is Syndicate reimagined for the third time, and I didn't like Syndicate Wars. 

REBOOT ME!! *shut up Marcus!!* but Man that UI is all up in your face son my eyes can't handle all that lol.

Man, EA must really hate PC users to not put out a demo on the PC.
