I imagine the thought process with the thumbnail isn't to entice people to watch the video, but to poke fun at how absurd anime can be about female sexuality and their physical proportions.

The violent things they liked were cartoonish and absurd and you're taking that Davis quote out of context, which is pretty ironic given that's the reason it's a meme to begin with. People applauding relatively realistic brutal executions is far more sinister than thinking the way doom sprites fall apart is neat.

The anime part of this looks like nothing new really, pretty tame in fact :/
