LittleBigPlanet 2 Debut Trailer

Music is amazing. The first game was a lot of fun so I'll play this eventually. 

Oh man! All of the levels get carried over.  New tools to build even more complex and awesome stuff!
 
The first LittleBigPlanet was innovative and great, but it got old after a bit.  This one looks like it'll have the potential for a lot more variety in the levels, and that seems like it's a must for the game.  Consider me SUPER EXCITED!

The original LBP was almost enough to convince me to buy a PS3 so as you can imagine the second may just put me over the edge.

I know the first LBP was great for allowing for creativity, but this is so much of an improvement that I'm amazed it is even happening. With this much detail in the creator more it could be like a mini XBL Indie Games, but all contained within the structure of yet another game and with each "developer" being allowed to just make a level at a time. 
 
If people were able to charge for massive projects within LBP2 (even if it was just a buck or two), I think there would be a bigger influx of dedicated creators, not just spare-time level makers. Of course, it would only work if most levels were free while still allowing for that rare gem that was worth actually dropping a Washington for.
 
Well, it'll never happen that way, so i guess there's no point in thinking too hard about that scenario.

Should I order LPB GOTY Edition, since I have never played LPB, or should I wait for this?

Great feel-good trailer. Can't wait for this game and it's a nice touch that it's backwards compatible with all levels.

I still say it should be called Little Bigger Planet.

I've never been that enthusiastic about getting a PS3 but Little Big Planet and Heavy Rain really have seemed to be the major attractions.

man i thought i was done with LBP but that was pretty awesome. The music got me so pumped for this game

I don't own a ps3 and have no intention of doing so. Also littlebigplanet was never a game that appealed to me. That being said. This is one of the best trailers I have seen in a very long time. This might not appeal to me. But I have deep respect for what this game hopes to achieve and what the previous one did. I looked forward to see what happens next.

Man, whoever cut that trailer did a great job. I'm absolutely loving how they're providing the tools to make different types of games. Sure, you could do that in the original, but it didn't seem nearly as accessible to do so. This can't come soon enough.

It is now that I really want a PS3.

LBP is an amazing achievement in driving user created content to the console.  Its a terrible shame that its a platform exclusive when so many more people could be enjoying it.  Oh well.  Enjoy PS3 folks!  :-)

@Jeff: I've heard vague rumors from a couple of different places that you will be able change how the game handles, which is badass.

Dislike Passion Pit, but for some reason it fits this trailer pretty good.

Having never owned a PS3, LBP was on my list of the top games to get if I ever did buy one. But now what'll I do!?
