@infestedandy: I thought Dead or Alive was pretty over the top as well, what with all the bodies flying across the stage and multi level stages where you knock dudes over 100-foot high cliffs. So I think that analogy is flawed.

If you said something like Virtua Fighter, then yeah, this game's not supposed to be that.

Why the hell is Liu Kang so big, ripped and butch now? It doesn't match the voice or character at all. He also looks slow.

Game still looks okay. I'll likely wait untill christmas to buy, but this certainly looks better than Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe did.

Based off of this trailer, the narration for the series has improved ten-fold. Gameplay looks MK...which is great IMO. Can't wait for this game!

I'm surprised it's getting so much hype. I've always been a fan of the series and I'm looking forward to it.. but the gameplay still looks very stiff and looks very similar to the original 3 games, which were hardly known for being balanced. I think it's going to be a fun game to play, but not something to take seriously.

I do like that they've managed to recapture the extreme gore, thanks to the x-ray moves. The blood became too comedic.

OH thank god! Someone put Zombie Lu Kang into the Lazarus pit and made him normal again. All is right with the world.

The bookend's look cool. However. It is Competing with Duke Nukem's Balls of Steel Edition for the most "do you REALLY need this?" Box of Stuff this year.

So he's the greatest hero from earthrealm, too bad that he's so annoying to me whenever he opens his mouth while hitting someone. At least they improved the look of him & added some leather armor to make him seem a little more interesting visually.
