@smatticus: I've just downloaded it onto my vita from the vita store so it's definitely there. (EU PSN)

Just going to mention that there will also be a PC update.

Also, I thought Lone Survivor was fantastic.

Whats that music?

I have a US vita so is that why? I hit search and it doesnt come up and I've been all through the indies and new releases and PS plus categories. This always looked great for PC but I love taking those kinds of games on the road and the vita has been great for that

He's just so happy.

@smatticus: Yeah. US store doesn't usually update until sometime after 4pm eastern time. Sometimes it might update earlier than that I think, but not usually.

How is it on the Vita? I have the PC version but will probably never play it where if its on the Vita I'll get around to it on a night shift or something.

Have to wait until the PSN store updates later in the day.

Is there going to be additional content in the Director's Cut edition?

Lone Survi-vah, you been gone too long in the midnight sea.

I wrote about this game earlier this summer. I think it's simply amazing and may just rebuy it for my vita, considering I got the game on pc for 2.50

That guy... is still.. too damn happy.

Not a fan, but the choice of music for this trailer was pretty awesome. =D

I played a bit of it but it didn't really hook me or make me want to continue playing.

Play it tonight. It was 4 hours of the best gaming I had last year.

Man, that music is dope.

This game is great and every fan of horror should play it.

It also has a kickass soundtrack.

Man, Curve Studios has become the go-to devs for all these indie game Vita ports.

Stealth Inc, Thomas Was Alone, Lone Survivor, and they're working on Proteus as well.

Awesome music in the trailer. This looks like a great game for Vita.

@aelric: If anyone is interested the song in the trailer is Big Black Delta, Roost. Game looks damn awesome, been waiting for the Vita port to pick it up.

That guy still looks like he has the biggest fucking smile all the time.

@djou: Just bought that album on Amazon, but this song doesn't seem to be available. Any idea why?

Posted by PandaBear

So uh, what exactly do you do in the game? Was it made by an XTC cover band?

Definitely one of my favourite games of last year. It is very Silent Hill-like, but the personal story it tells of the main character is really touching at moments. Lots of cool Twin Peaks vibes as well, in terms of some cryptic characters that appear and disappear.

If you guys play this, unless they've changed the director's cut so that the game explains itself better, I recommend having a FAQ handy when you play it. The systems are intentionally obscure, I guess, but if you know you're only likely to play it once, I don't think you should miss out on the cool stuff in this game.

So try not to spoil stuff for yourself, but the game has a lot of weirdly hidden systems that I think you're better off knowing about (there is a mental health stat that the game never explicitly mentions, green/red/blue pills do different things and they...represent something, there are a bunch of missable items and encounters that I really think you should see). Make sure you understand how that stuff works to get the most out of the game.

Yeah. For being Directors Cut and all they should've fixed the balaclava to look more like a balaclava. Or change the colour. Anything.

I'm in the same boat. I own a lot of these smaller indie titles on PC, end up playing a little bit of them there, but never finishing them. Then Sony + Curve Studios (who have been cranking out ports like crazy) are nice enough to port them over to the Vita where I actually end up playing them.

I'm really Glad Sony seems to be keeping up this trend with upcoming stuff like Rogue Legacy, Hotline Miami 2, etc. as well.

@dinosaur_phd: Looks like its on the first self-released album from 2011, BBDLP1. I actually tried to buy it myself, but I'm not sure its still available.
